It alters a certain rare enemy spoilers below, its not like a crazy thing but I figured I'd mark as spoilers anyway All Z0mbie's sides are replaced with heal 5 rescue (does nothing, monsters cant use targed heal sides) and Z0mbies take 4 damage at the start of each turn. The modfier is called 'Friend!", you can see it at 27:19. It took a lot of rmod hunting to make, so far I haven't gotten any msgs from anyone who found it tho lol, Z0mbies are rare
that thief housecat combo is so funny holy shit, you just get actual housecat lol Jumble is definitely really rng lol, I've had a run where he both made hexia do a 1 damage heavy bite and also make slimelet have a summon 3 hexias side 32:46 hell yeah, already made both. The enemy is quite evil lol. He's immune to damage every 2nd turn while he's transformed. The other guy is a wererat lol 39:53 fun fact you can actually do both! If you use wanders doubleuse side once then enchanter. It's pretty sick Been making a boss pack recently out of some unused a3um art I was given permission to use, was interesting to hear your thoughts on bosses. I personally think it _is_ the fact that some bosses counter some strats that makes the floor 20 bosses interesting. I feel like every run would be a steamroll if you didn't have to think about "well I need good value from The Hands +1, I also need a plan for Hexia, I need big pips/poison for inevitable... dragon who?" But idk. After doing some playtesting of my own floor 20 boss, I think most floor 20 bosses should only barely be beatable by the thing they "counter". Like you _can_ beat hexia with a rush down team, it's just harder than playing slow. The floor 20 bosses also make normally bad characters good, like I'd never take a floor 18/20 Dancer or Sorc (without item support), but if I'm worried about The Hand, I might. Also encourages team diversity, but I get it, some people just wanna make an all cantrip team without worrying about inevitable lol

I r e a l l y like finding ways to break this game over my knee, and typically that's by leaning pretty heavy into specific team synergy (Rush-down, Slow-Play, Mana, etc.) so getting a part hard-countered by the last fight can be a bit frustrating. I think that is genuinely just a me issue though, making a more balanced team is probably a better way for the game to be played by the larger player base. Although I think it might be cool if there was a mode that told you what bosses you'll be fighting in your run, but I can definitely see how'd that take the fun out of it, so maybe not lol

Cleanse just didn't ever do much. There was a few other minor changes too in the last update. Here's the changelog if your curious: -Th1ef changed to just have normal thief sides + equipped, no more fumble -Removed Scared keyword from Tr4pper fierce side, it was redundant. -P1lgrim topbot replaced with Add Selfheal -Removed death from M0nk mid2 -Ev0ker changed to be 20 mana instead of 999, also spell cost was lowered to 20 -Sph3re no longer applies sticky to the whole team, instead he now gives -2 rerolls -Sp1ne topbot increased to 2 and left2 increased to 4 to better resemble Thorn's sides (still wand of wand sides tho, kinda scared of giving it petrify lmao) -B4sh left side deceased to 2 pips -St4lwart right side removed doubled -Surg3on revive spell now costs 3 initially and now has deplete. The kill spell has channel instead of deplete -added .doc. to Surg3on explaining the bug, just incase people forget -removed blindfold from topbot W3aver, they're just normal mana side art now -R0ulette is no longer missing (oops)

I _may_ need to rebalance that guy... _maybe_ Another old concept for Cur4tor was he had 9 random items built in, but in practice it was a mess lol I think you've seen all of them by now? I _think_ these are the ones you haven't played yet, might be wrong: G4mbler, W4rden, M1mic, D4ncer, V3nom, B4barian, Ac3, Art1ficer, V3ssel, Jumbl3, R0bot Crazy to see the list so small now, its been very fun watching this series and seeing you figure them all out.

Very odd. Probably some weirdness with curses/blessing applying before items (items built into the character) 7:31 I think that ones acolyte! I expected it to be mage but then I remembered he has 2 xs lol As I was making this, I had a small worry that too many of the characters would be too fast, like with all the haha death and haha pain (tho I am considering reworking a few like Valk). Glad to see they work just as well with a slower playing party layout like this. (yes, there is an _attempt_ at balance)

Go for it tho! (I've got like 4 other mods I'm bouncing between working on lol). I'd join the S&D server and check the Textmod channel. Theres a thread called kas333 tutorials which compiled most of the guides, I've written a hero creation and a heropool one. Also feel free to ask for help in the Textmod-Help channel, people are always happy to 29:26 that is weird... and check out what happened at 43:59! That's so bizarre 44:41 yeah the rng keywords get weird in big mods. Sometimes they work fine, sometimes they stay the same, sometimes they have a set pattern, and sometimes they change... but only when you level another character up? It's bizarre. I am looking to reworking characters that use them, but all the ones that have them now I'm okay with being less random than I'd like. Originally the D4bble line had fluctuate but I kinda like their new version more. It's just not as obvious what their special feature is, it just looks like a mix of random tier X sides to most people (which it is, but there's a little more to it than that hehe). 45:31 the ultimate punchline to this joke spell is even if you spam Tick to get to 999 poison, you'll hit the action limit first and lose lol. I think its only doable with inflictdeath or Scr4pper's flesh sides

It's making the first slimer chip you for 1 (now 2), then bones hits, then the second slimer chips you for 2 (now 4). Thats so funny. The reason it didn't work on the second slimer is because those people would've already been hurt by the time it got to its turn to attack 58:05 run and step mean that the previous pips used would have to go in counting order. So like for Ac3, to trigger the x3 for run you'd need 1 then 2 OR 5 then 4. Same thing for step, the previous pip used would have to be either 1 or 3 Great video, and thanks for playing!

Btw you can stack them on the same character(s) because it gives you an item slot. Its meant to let you do weird stuff like rush a t3 or do a scuffed 4 "housecat" run. Can totally just play a somewhat normal run tho, just gotta swap stuff around to your highest tier hero Watching you click on m0nk then sph3re in a run trying to kill c0ffin was heartbreaking lol, very funny tho actually now that I think about it, m0nk isn't actually too shabby for killing c0ffin lol, for example 14:35 you could have killed c0ffin instead 23:40 wow that is weird, I bet it is because of the poison. Interesting 49:10 thank you, but I can't take full credit lol. Whats happening here is a system tann made for non-base game color characters where when they level up and have no other non-base game color options to level up into. It just takes an item that modifies a side, slaps it onto the preexisting character, and offers it instead. For example If you take thief.col.u and then level her, it'll do the same thing C0ffin originally would just give you a random color t0 upon death, but it used a thing called a choosable to do so (ch.q0~0~1~g). This resulted in him becoming Glitch when you reloaded the game which was unfortunate, the game doesn't seem to like phrases or choosables being built into items or characters. Regardless, I think I like his new version more lol.

Leather gloves + ballet shoes on Ev0ker is nuts lol. Originally G4mbler and Ev0ker had stasis on the blanks but halfway thru playtesting I was like 'eh why not just make it Sticky Enduring so items can maybe do something'. Halfway thru this video I thought that might have been too much of a buff until that ending lmao. He did not, infact, hit those also 5:36 lmao.
