I'm surprised that no one has commented on this. I've performed both well known arrangements of America the Beautiful, in many states and on three continents, so I do know the differences. This is NOT the Alice Jordan/Ballenger arrangement, but the arrangement by Carmen Dragon. There is quite a difference between the two.

It takes courage to rehearse and perform what is by almost universal acclamation the worst piece ever written for concert band. Bad music played well!
