I managed to get it installed but I am not having any joy getting my quad to fly. It seemed like I got a different error each time I tried connecting or flashing my FC. Yesterday I deleted everything off my laptop and started over, I loaded an older version of Betaflight configurator released in 2018 and the 3.2.5 software. Downloaded the drivers recommended by Betaflight and everything worked great, my FC flashed without any problems. Got some time in the last couple days and got it setup in Betaflight and took it for a couple test hovers this afternoon. That didn't go so great, first test flight there was some pulsing in the throttle like I was blipping the throttle, I was hovering about 20 feet up and the motors all cut out and the quad plummeted to the ground breaking one prop. Second flight everything seemed better than until I landed and the quad done a couple hops and then kept flipping upside down. Hooked it up to Betaflight to look thing's over, couldn't see anything glaring at me. Charged a battery and went for a third test flight and the pulsing throttle was back and it decided to flip upside down about 15 ft in the air and crashing again, this time breaking 14 of the 16 fasteners holding the frame together. Don't know if I should just scrap the complete thing or buy a newer FC
Hello Does anyone know how to change the I-BUS Channel output? My problem is that when I use the FS-I6X Sender as Trainer I cannot use Channel 1 because the channel output is mixed with I-bus Output
here in SW FL, we call that...sweatin' our butts off in Summer's crazy-HOT Heat!! No joke, upNorth-folks actually build something to sweat in?!! 🙂 nice job here, for sure!! sub'd/liked
ZOMG you're a lifesaver!! I did need to pull the old 10.7 version of the Configure app that you're using in the video; the latest 10.10 as I write this won't talk to this old firmware. But that's fine, it works! And no more fighting with the old Chrome app that doesn't like Windows anymore.
G’day mate ,do you have any experience using Ardupilot ? I’m trying to connect my Rc to my Fc Orange cube plus and I can not succeed, any advice or suggestions ?
Sir your video is helpful but I have a problem. I have this setup per your instructions but the thing is I have 4 servos connected to the receiver at channels 1-4 but 2 of of the servos will not stop spinning, if I connect just to of the servos to channel 1 and 2 the servos work fine, if I connect a third servo it will spin without ever stopping and if a fourth servo same thing happens. I checked that spinning servo on channel 1 it works fine it is just we I connect more than 2, the other servos start spinning, they have said on research that I have continuous servos but the first 2 servos I connect turn as per my specifications and do not spin it only happens when connecting to more that 2 channels. Please if you can give me some guidance on this. FLYSKY I6X and receiver is FS-I6AB, I am pulling my hair out on this, well not really since I don't have any. HELP ME if you can?
Hi. I own a FS-i6 transmitter and FS-iA6B for my DF95 racing sailboat. I want to add a FS-IBG01 GPS sensor to the system. Can I do this directly, or do I need a whole new transmitter/receiver system?
Hi there. This is 2nd time trying to use the IA6B receiver and can not get it to work with FS-I6 xmitter. Always used IA6 rec'r. Did you do something special? Joe
Hy mate. Sadly I tried everything.. Just doesn't want to bind! I'm going crazy here... It's already on a novomodel little boat for laing down the hook bait. It worked all fine. Than a little water in the remote. I close it, dry it out. Sarted on. And reset because didn't wanted to connect to the satelit. Than tried to rebind.. Doesn't want to work. Please help me! Thank you.
thank you SO much!! my motor came with all sorts of extra washers and things I had no idea what I was doing wrong!! So glad I just needed to righten more.
Dude, you wasted far too much of my time pretending to be a TV star on youtube. The crap at the start with the clothes... pathetic at best. Then you go into telling us what you think you are going to do in the video... Ill never know because you have wasted your time already.
The FS-iA6b and the FS-iA10b are identical with the exception that the 6 has 6 PWM channels and the 10 has 10. Which I believe I explained earlier in the video. Possibly not. Everything is the same in terms of powering, configuration, and using PPM connection or iBus. If you're using an older flight controller or a plane / helicopter with servos then you would use PWM channels instead.
I had that transmitter in my first plane, it kept loosing signal after about a two minute time frame and distance, yanked it out of my plane and bought a used spektrum and haven't had a problem.
All electronics systems can have failures. The failure rate with this protocol and radio has proved to be remarkably low - similar to Spektrum. The normal range possible can be seen by Googling up the test video by iforce2d in New Zealand. Bang for buck the simple little Flysky FS-i6x transmitter makes the over-priced Spektrum gear look laughable. For those who require a far more competent radio most folks who aren't already trapped in the financial clutches of E-flite/Spektrum would chose a Multi Protocol OpenTX/EdgeTX/ELRS radio like the Radiomaster TX16SMk2. With the latest firmware they are equivalent in capabilities to the most expensive Spektrum radios - at an order of magnitude lower cost! Plus they can run about 100 different protocols (including all the Spektrum Gear) on the same radio.
Another great video. ? I’ve looked all over for videos of how to flash the flight controller. And I have found none. I just built my first drone and I’m using the speedybee f405 v3 on a 7 inch drone. My receiver is a coolrc flysky fs-x6b and my transmitter is a flysky fs i6x. Please help I don’t know where to find the info that it’s asking for
Ive got a CR8D receiver thats previously binded. I've got the wires setup from the FTDI correctly but not sure what pins are what on the receiver. Its not binding to remote.
Been thinking about building one for a few years, might give it a try this summer. Would probably put some straps around it and treat the lumber with linseed oil, maybe even treat the outside with tar.
