He said the way my blue eyes shined Put those Georgia stars to shame that night I said, "That's a lie" Just a boy in a Chevy truck That had a tendency of gettin' stuck On backroads at night And I was right there beside him all summer long And then the time we woke up to find that summer gone But when you think Tim McGraw I hope you think my favorite song The one we danced to all night long The moon like a spotlight on the lake When you think happiness I hope you think that little black dress Think of my head on your chest And my old faded blue jeans When you think Tim McGraw I hope you think of me September saw a month of tears And thanking God that you weren't here To see me like that But in a box beneath my bed Is a letter that you never read From three summers back It's hard not to find it all a little bittersweet And lookin' back on all of that, it's nice to believe When you think Tim McGraw I hope you think my favorite song The one we danced to all night long The moon like a spotlight on the lake When you think happiness I hope you think that little black dress Think of my head on your chest And my old faded blue jeans When you think Tim McGraw I hope you think of me And I'm back for the first time since then I'm standing on your street And there's a letter left on your doorstep And the first thing that you'll read Is when you think Tim McGraw I hope you think my favorite song Someday you'll turn your radio on I hope it takes you back to that place When you think happiness I hope you think that little black dress Think of my head on your chest And my old faded blue jeans When you think Tim McGraw I hope you think of me Oh, think of me Mmm He said the way my blue eyes shined Put those Georgia stars to shame that night I said, "That's a lie"
Does anybody remember Faith Hill was pissed off because she thought she was gonna win an award and Carrie Underwood won the award. And Faith Hill was recorded yelling backstage.
If I could pick any city to see her in, it would be Nashville. Which I've been lucky enough to be able to do twice, but I've also seen her in other places. You'd think LA would be the best, but I would choose Nashville.
Country Music Miracle....sing about your idol 10yrs later you're singing with him! But not without his best friend and wife!❤ Their love is AMAZING! Gj Taylor I loved your Country days now the kids love the Pop. But just do you.... and remember your roots!
I was in Nashville when this came out. I knew she was going to be big. Then she followed up with tear drops on my guitar wich rocketed her career and still my favorite sing by her.
This song is how I first new about Taylor swift and I’m from Georgia, and then she played a charity concert at Georgia theatre in Athens when I was a freshman, it was epic at the time. Now, looking back, can’t believe I was there, but I think she is better and more true then. Not saying she isn’t now, but I guess I liked how it felt more rootsy and true. I’d like to see her go back to that. However, all musicians should try and experiment. Neil Young and Bob Dylan do that just to name a few. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I’m not a TS hater, but I am struggling to understand the hype that she is now. Much respect even though I doubt I will ever like her like I did at first. Idk. I guess I just prefer to see the band and everyone playing instruments. Lol. TS is repping for all of us 1989 babies! 😂🎉
I agree with you. I loved the innocence she had when she first came out in the audience during the award show and stood next to Tim McGraw. We've all watched her grow up to be BEAUTIFUL. But, I would like less of those sensual movies she does stay somewhat innocent. Reba doesn't do those moves, nor does Martina, nor Faith, nor Sara Evans, nor Kasey Musgrave. They are huge in the industry. I like the fact she found her NFL man. I hope it's both of their dreams. Taylor you're Beautiful ❤️ with a Beautiful ❤️ voice
The song that made me a swiftie ❤ I love being close in age with Taylor because I really grew up the same time she did and the music she released at that time was so relatable to me
I'm not Taylor BUT I sang country roads for some Ukraine children ( before the war) in Odessa in a park they loved it ....I know a little how Taylor feels ..giving freely to others , God can work through us all......
I felt bad for her. Pretty sure she couldn't hear. The crowd was so insanely loud. You could see it on Faith's face. She kept grabbing at her ear monitor and trying to watch Taylor to see where they were at. That's why Taylor jumped in on Faith's part and sang more.
I fell in love with TS when I first heard this song. Perfect video- made me go out and buy the CD. Already loved Faith Hill. Guess Tim can cone along for the ride, LOL! Seriously, thanks so much for this.
It's amazing that she wrote this so young. I'm glad she wrote it about my famous country duo. She was fabulous at that age and she has gotten so much better.
Yeah I felt so bad for her. Pretty sure she couldn't hear. The crowd was so insanely loud. You could see it on Faith's face. She kept grabbing at her ear monitor and trying to watch Taylor to see where they were at. That's why Taylor jumped in on Faith's part and sang more.
