I had this p0720 Replace speen sensor, replace TCM all still same Checking again 2 solenoid not function Currently to replace whole valve body & solenoid
My valve body recently gave out on a drive home in my 370z (I had about 6 miles left) and I drove it the 6 miles in limp mode (wouldn't go past 2nd) at 35MPH. The codes thrown when i got back and scanned were P0720 and P2731, which is how I know it is the valve body. Do you think the dealer will be able to tell if my transmission is still feasible after taking out the old valve body and before installing the new one? The part is the same price as a new transmission but I want to avoid the extra labor that comes with a complete assembly replacement.
@@alejandromorales5822 Many of the parts are only available when we do a transmission build in house That said, regular stock rebuild kits without our specialty parts are available through the normal sources

Hi, my 2001 Eurovan has given me a code that my mechanic says leads to changing out the 01M325039EX valve body. Having trouble finding one and there seems to be only one we can order from VW (01M325039BU). They just said that the mechanic would have to be able to make it work- adjustments may be needed. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Will that tiny o ring in the shaft that goes into the torque converter cause a transmission leak if it is worn or flat , I think this is what is wrong with my transmission
Hi mate I have a leak of transmission fluid coming out from the bell housing I haven’t yet removed the box to inspect it , what part would most likely be leaking , the small o ring , front main seal or one of the bolts that you used silicone on to prevent leaking ?. It is hard to find any good info on these gearbox’s in Australia so thank you very much for this video

@@chadsmall9447 The small o ring can’t cause an external leak, it’s most likely the front seal or converter No sense in guessing, you have to pull it out and look anyway
Great video, used it to pull my 01p apart. My K3 clutch pack was fried and its pressure plate was totally disintegrated. I am now putting things back together, however, when I pressed the K3 back into the froward drum and hub I was a little over zealous and destroyed my new K1 clips. Second attempt now and I am after some advise on how far to press the k3 in. Is it just a feel thing or are those holes in the side of the drum there so you can see when to stop?
I exploded the front diff on my '04 FXT by doing boost brake launches. It cracked the bellhousing all the way around it, to the point I was able to remove the transmission without removing a single bellhousing bolt! I think the front diff was already on its way out though as it was already making noise before that. Any idea how much power a healthy '04 Forester XT 4EAT can handle if you don't do dumb stuff like boost brake launches? Im hoping for around 350whp in the near future, _maybe_ 400whp...
@@iptperformancetrans OK thanks. Is that 325 wheel or crank hp? Is it worth getting a higher stall converter at that power level, or will that just exacerbate the problem of breaking an unmodified 4EAT?
Love the video my 2010 g37 has no codes but after 100miles and I give it power it throws it self into neutral then hard shifts on up shift value body was done when I got the car gonna just vr trans swap any idea what would cause that?
Hello, greetings from Chile, I want to ask what is the name of the master rebuild kit that you use to repair this 4eat automatic gearbox, and if you have the eBay or Amazon link that you can share to import it to Chile please; I have a Subaru Legacy 2.0R and it uses the same automatic gearbox and I want to do an overhauling, I appreciate your complete information and I await your response...thank you
@@juanitocarcamo The kit is ours- www.importperformancetrans.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=1718 International orders will need to be set up by emailing me: Sales@ importperformancetrans.com
2014 370z. Code P0720, unfortunately I went after the output speed sensor with the trans installed but i believe its the TCM, is there a way to verify? Can the valve body removal be done with the transmission in the vehicle. Appreciate your time and the videos are outstanding!!
Hi guys. I have a question. I have a 2007 Subaru Outback 3.0 and I need to buy the solneoid kit with some kind of wore harness. Do you know where I can find it?
@@andresgoijberg3534 As far as I know as of now, solenoids are only available as part of a complete valve body and harnesses need to come from the dealership as well
@@Iglesiadecristocaguas Thank you 🙏🏼 I stock some units, but more typically, we build customer’s existing transmissions. My contact is in the description ⚙️
I bought a new Valve body from infiniti. Does the valve body come complete and you just switch 5ge old valve body with the new or are there other steps. Thanks
Thank you for this info. I have a good working 4EAT but the bell housing cracked. I had a spare one laying around and wondered if I could just remove the bolts you did in the beginning and just swap out bell housing. Looks straight forward enough and I will be doing it. Thank you so much for the insightful video and info!
@@Owensti The diff ring gear/carrier lives in the bell housing and you are not going to want to have a ring and pinion that are not a matching set. Furthermore, idk what your particular situation is but 95% of broken Subaru diff cases are a result of the diff failing.
Your awsome watched all your subaru video's and im gonna give it a shot. My issue is im looking at atsg for a book but im seeing 88-98 then jumps to 04-up and i have a 02. Any imput on witch Manuel to pick up?
Do you know what would cause the stator to gouge the bushing like that? I have a 04 fxt with a failed front diff (broken teeth) and cant find a replacement trans so was going to buy 38100ab420 (ring and pinion gear) but dont want it to fail again because of something i didnt look at close enough.
Great videos.. my 06 Forester 4EAT has a thump in the shift from 3-4th when cold. This seems to go away once the car has warmed up to operating temperature. Do you think a valve body maintenance could be a good option? Thank you
I know its not high performance but I'm wondering if I could get some advise I got a 2017 kia forte 5 ex with a 6 speed automatic it drives fine until you go up a mountain. up a mountain is has issues in 4th and 5th. it has no codes it looks new inside no metal shavings on the plug. The solenoid screens are clean and look new. They sell a transgo kit for this car TRANSGO SKA6MF. Does it sound like this is worth a try? I don't know what to do. I have no leads, no codes.
Sir, you have no clue how much I appreciate your work and your videos on these Mitsubishi transmissions. My GT has been down since Independence Day of 21 I had it at a shop and they assembled my transmission incorrectly and then installed the passenger side cv axel and damaged the output shaft seal. I’m in the process of doing it myself and your videos are very informative and helpful. Thank you so very much.
