This time Brett McMurphy is nuts. You are trusting McMurphy far too much. Why does he not realize the obvious, which is what you guys are saying. When FSU goes to the B1G, will that severely not damage McMurphy's reputation? I hope so. How does FSU create chaos for the B1G? The networks will drive expansion at the right time. Fox, et. al., are the reason for Washington and Oregon. They will be the force behind FSU entry to the B1G. Clemson is really in a different spot than FSU. Florida is a much bigger deal that South Carolina. The ACC should and probably will stay together in some form since there are so many teams with no other home. Their TV deal will be terrible.
FSU has to get AAU first. I know they say AAU is not a requirement but they haven't taken a non AAU school in 70 years. All the Bigten presidents are on vacation right now so I'm not sure who these Bigten sources are.
Both Commissioner Delany and Commissioner Petitti both have very publicly stated that AAU membership is not a prerequisite to B1G membership. The only reason for the SEC to take FSU is to block the B1G. The idea that the B1G does not want FSU is nuts. Of course FSU will make money for the B1G. The rest of it sounds like Big 12 propaganda. As far as investors, that money will need to paid back at some point.
I think the report from a few years ago by a collegiate/olympic swim coach is the most accurate prediction of the SEC. The additions of UNC, UVA, FSU, and Clemson will be additions to that league. In fear of libel from the ACC, the SEC commish is politically posturing by denying any interests and using FSU as a faux scapegoat ( for colorful reasons ) Im sure these planned acts were discussed to said listed programs to play along with the scenario.
USF to a "Power" conference is long overdue. We heald our own when we were in the Big East and I still think we can in any of the "Power" conferences, today. We have the market, AAU status, and resources to qualify already. GO BULLS!
JP. You never show up on my homepage. I have an alert, but organically your podcast is never on my home youtube page. I always have to go to subscriptions and select your show. You are being shadowed banned?
Great show JP! I watch your show daily, I respect your straight up views on everything. I remember watching you on Channel 8 years ago, now you have more freedom to say what's on your mind. Although YT is trippin these days and filtering out conservative and Christian views still more freedom than the networks. Hilarious convo about the cannabis suppositories 😂
I ordered my Hydrate Hero's 3 pack sample. It's on the way already. Can't wait to try! Oh, the best Florida Sports show! JP & colleges are awesome! I now catch every episode, if not live, by the end of the night. Keep up the great work guys.
STU was acting like such a D-bag on Bally's 5 inning..."When I first saw the shirt, I thought, is the this like a reptile look. Why does it look so old? Then I realized, it was the same is if you left your shirt in the sun in the car for 6 weeks." Yeah Stu, same thing.
And if you look at the structure of Baker Mayfield's deal. He's on a prove it or move a deal. It's a minimum two-year deal. In baker's not going to sit back and just take in the money. Like he said he hates losing. And I'm sure Mike Evans is the same way.
I think that's stupid comment and comments coming out of Atlanta just like that. That is going to give Baker Mayfield and Mike Evans and the rest of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a lot of motivation. Man you can win on paper 📜 but if you don't win on the field well you know what's going to happen somebody's going to get cut somebody's going to get fired.😢 So Atlanta counting the chickens before they hatch is a bad idea.
The Bucs Traded Carlton Davis and two 6th round picks for a 3rd round pick. Did they do that with something or someone in mind? Is it ammo for a trade up?
I think Baker wants a long deal like 5 years long. He wanted to play in Cleveland of all places! He wants stability and longevity. I say $30 million a year, 5 years with 3 years guaranteed.
