Wow, Panamanian birds are Amazing 🤩 Never before heard of the Chachalaca. What very large tail feathers she has! The dhicks wre indeed cute as heck😊 tysm
Iris's life is like a soap opera. She's a mother again after 6 years and has found a good mate in Finnegan. She's lived on her own for several years and is right back in the maternal mode again. What a bird!
During the day on July 2nd, the younger chick's left eye seems to be having difficulty opening. I hope I'm wrong or that it's not a big problem. Eat a lot and grow healthy. !
I think Fin did what you mentioned before 🤔 I saw that happen once, just can't remember the timeline; the defense mode or forms depends on bird species I guess, birds of prey got more strength and confidence to face enemies and fight within steps; however, pheasant-tailed Jacana will tuck all babies underneath their wings; I once saw a giant ball-like Jacana growing so many feet as the babies trying to get off the bus…quite a scene 😂😂 again, I guess Iris and Fin got lots of confidence to beat the enemies cuz they're together ❤
the intruder was an osprey, too, I play the video with 0.25x speed and it became very clear, I'm curious about its intention, though, trying to steal the fish? 🤔
Huh right, I'm curious too. Maybe the nest is too close to theirs, or this intruder wants the nest? But why attack a nest guarded by a pair, with young ones? Doesn't seem like they'd want the fish. Fish are plentiful this time of year.. and surely not trying to get the babies. Territorial is the only thing that makes sense but then again, I'm not an osprey. 1:49
@@techshabby0001 Probably that intruder can't catch fish bcuz of injury or weakness? I saw certain birds of prey steal dead prey from others before, but osprey seems to prefer live fish 😆
I sure don’t know what that intruder was thinking lol !! Finn does bring in some pretty massive fish though. Proving to be a good Dad and provider. Mom says “Not on my watch” LOL !!!
Wow I know Olimm Abigail Johnson Her platform maintains a unique perspective and is very transparent with their investors. Regardless of whether or not she outperforms. I will forever stay invested!
Oh my word, that is a beautiful and unusual butterfly. Never seen one like it before. Love all the different birds, wildlife and other tropical creatures this site let's us view. Love learning about all these creatures on this site. Appreciate this site so much.❤🦋❤️
It is hard to imagine a platform feeder that would attract a greater variety of bird species as this one - everything from warblers to toucans! The dense foliage right up to the edge of the platform no doubt induces birds to check out it out. As a photographer, however, I see that the same foliage would make it very difficult to actually photograph a bird here without having a jumbled, cluttered background of limbs and leaves. I have visited many bird feeder platforms put up at lodges and even parks in both the U.S. and in tropical America. And am continuously surprised how little if any thought is given to creating a setting where one can not only see the birds but photograph them as well.
@@lasigna0212 Yes! It is heartbreaking to see. I hope the younger one’s eyes recovered! It will be difficult to survive as an Osprey without great eyesight!
Oh wow, I watched a lot of the blue-frosted banner that day (I looked up the ID) but didn't see the zoomed part !!! This is so great, thanks !! I email some of the butterflies to Canopy Lodge. I hope they like them, but I never hear back.
