I always heard accolades about German engineering and then I learned what a German company did with the predecessor to Costco. Over engineered it and drove it into the ground. I feel the same about having to do this to get access to the battery. That good lever should be mechanical and not electrical. They made something more complicated than it needed to be.
I tried this once and it worked. However my alarm keeps going off and this does not work ! Do I have to wait until battery goes dead and alarm stops before it works ? Any one ?
Help FiftyMIL! The fuse jump isn’t working for my 2008 Cayman. I used a direct jump from my other vehicle. I attached to the fuse box positive terminal and the door jam for the negative. The frunk button and the keys both did not work. I’m certain the connections were good. I let it charge for 5-10 minutes but nothing. I know it’s getting some juice as the key was locked in the ignition but was able to get it out. Help!!
That's a lot of details , what material is it and it's friends made of ? Aluminum is very hard to repair , stainless steel easy to weld. Deal breaker , not the silencer
Kudos brother I will 1000% testify that your speed is correct brother. I have a 2006 Derbi Atlantis with pretty much the exact setup other that I have the ZX pipe not the ZX-R and I have NGK PLUG WIRE I also have a side gapped spark plug and I run around 98-99 Octane gas and I run 3 stock weights and 3 -4.5 gram Weights. I weigh 220 pounds plus I have about 7-10 pounds under my seat in emergency tool kit and I pull 92KPH constantly on flats with very minimal wind. I absolutely love my Derbi and the piaggio engine is a beast that takes a pounding I've put 20 thousand kms on it in 11 months in Ontario Canada I ride all year unless there's snow or it's really really cold. Thanks for the videos and tips I used your air box trick lol Cheers bro
Thanks for the video. Charlie hasn’t driven his Cayman in a year. Well I think more like 10 months anyway so yeah the battery needs assistance so he’s got it in the barn underneath cover with a couple other vehicles in there and he drives three other things and just recently bought a new 24 king ranch 350. :-) xx Vic
Hi, this hasn't worked. I have a 2007 997 Turbo. Battery is completely dead, nothing at all. I've definitely got power to the car using the method recommeded, but neither key fob or car switch work. Any suggestions from anyone? (will this work if the battery is for some reason useless? - I'm not a mechanic so clucthing a little here). Thanks, david

I mount a small electric fan on the airbox ran independantly by lithium rechargeable batterries.of coarse you would have to drill a hole in the top of the airbox.
i wouldn't modify stock parts but instead buying parts suitable from your use case. engineers at honda did rng to make sure stock parts are reliable and economical especially at speed
Get a high performance carburetor EFI preferable bigger than the one on their or a smart carburetor.amd a bigger air filter if the carburetor don't come with one.or a racing carburetor that will fit to your scooter.
i have a question 4:06 what is this part for? i have it on my gilera runner sp 50 and when i take it out it is way louder. is it bad for the engine and how does it work. thank you :)
