Really like both the paint job on the miniatures as well as the terrain! Are these all Warlord Games miniatures? If so, were any of them a challenge to put together?
Ey, heads up about a bunch of things I noticed at 7:40: 1. You can only use another model's sensors if you're in formation with him (and he has the sensors: x trait). 2. For the Blast trait to take effect, it requires to be firing indirectly + having LoS from either the shooter or the spotter. 3. For unopposed rolls, even if you don't hit your Skill number, it can still hit. You always compare it to the target's defense roll result. So for example, at 8:02 you would hit with a MoS of 0.
The jerboa has the trait you're referring to and the chalevalier is in its formation, the blast ruling was a mistake, but I believe I correct that further in the video. As for the mos0 my Gu skill is a 4 so the dice roll of 3 would be a miss wouldn't it?
@@cogsonthetabletop4162 Nope. For opposed rolls, you only 'miss' if your result is lower than the defender's. You don't necessarily have to reach your Skill number.
@@cogsonthetabletop4162 Ah, ok. No, there's not a specific moment. The Roman leader is too far from the right flank since there's no musician in the army. Comand range is only 8"
@flashhordon While I enjoy bolt action, I also enjoy other games, playing only BA would get repetitive and I would like my audience to not just be bolt action fans.
@GlitchSystem-xf7jb I used the fan made rules called Mechastellar, they have a website of the same name. For figures, I 3d printed these, but you can definitely use official Gundam kits.
Note: reactions are simultaneous with the actions that trigger them. So if you cripple your target, it doesn't apply to their attack roll (likewise if they are destroyed, they still get to resolve their reaction)
Good call on the scorpio and the elephant, that is how the rules are written... the elephant would simply wiggle around while the crew dodged out of the way... the trample is really more intended for the clash against troops in close order, not a against a lonely scorpio that the crew can just simply run out of the way of the elephant... I love the urban game and love your Cesarean romans
Nice report... have a quick look at the break test mechanic. 1) both sides only test if they have the same break points... if one side is accumulating more break points than the other side then only that side has to test... ( I was not able to see how many break points the romans had but they might not have had to test ) ... 2) in addition some scenarios provide extra conditions, for example in Control the Land if both sides have the same number of break points only the side controlling the fewer number of objectives has to test... but great report !!! Francisco
Great Battle Report! I'm an IJA player as well, for my Type 97, I often have better luck, just spinning the turret around and just 2x MMG'ing models, I seems to have bad luck with the main gun.
Hi. Very good battle report. Just a question. On minute 20, you charged the roman unit on the flank. The Romans were in close order. Due to rolebook, they loose the close order. Additionaly, I don't understand if you perform an "all out attack" or not, since it's not possible performing it in close order. Do I mistake anything?!? 😅 Waiting for other battle report 💪💪💪💪💪
the Hussite wars are interesting. There are a lot of ruins and places in Lower Silesia in Poland that were ruined or destroyed during the conflicts by the Hussites. Those war wagons look great
As a novice newby, I have to say this was the easiest-to-follow battle report I have seen yet. Also, the image of a flame thrower team charging an infantry squad over open ground was pretty bad-ass. Just imagine how history turns on a little thing like which dice comes out of the bag at the beginning of a turn.
So what system are you playing in this video called is it mechastellar battle ? Where can I find more information about it? I had some friends show me mobile suit skirmish I know they would be interested in another gundam system they might be able to use thier gunpla for.
I love the layout! The buildings look like a British company's range, is this true? If so they are great, the Pegasus Bridge building is especially cool in that range. The models are great too. Good job guys.
