I got a Jeri curl back in the 80's. The downside of having it in your hair is washing it. After washing it your hair is so hard 😫 that it takes a lot of products to get it back soft again. Also, it would take a couple of days before my hair would feel soft. To get that mess out you have to cut ✂️ your hair. 😢
My Mom tells me that she will never give me a perm and she told me even when I get older to NEVER do a perm because once You do it for the first time you have to keep doing it a lot and if you don’t have enough money for the next time you do with your hair will fall out that whats she told me!

He has sent a prophet to hell because she refused to stop dying her hair (I think she didn't like the greys, she passed away and the Lord showed her sister -in-Christ the vision because everyone thought the prophet went to heaven). I just have to say that my hair is alot thicker and longer than yours and it's low porosity and I can still run a comb through my hair so just say that you wanted to get a texturizer!!! It's your hair... but you just have to learn to manage your natural texture. With a texturizer the curls look stringy to me. I prefer that thick texture.
