New Journey: Sharing recipes from a chef of 40 years A.K.A my Mum!
Every time you open up my chest, you will find a trinket, a potion or a random item!
- Trinkets are all the good things in life that I decided to share with everybody. - Potions are useful tips and tutorials that you could use to make your life better. - Random magics are completely random topics.
Hope you enjoy finding everything in my chest box!
Personally, I think it would have looked more aesthetically pleasing if you had the extended fabric overlaying the main curtains. I’ve seen other videos where they put a thin strip (maybe 1 inch) of fabric directly over the area where the two fabric pieces meet to give it a more polished finished. Here I am trying to figure out if I should extend IKEA’s 98" inch curtains or buy 103" curtains. Your video definitely helps give me some ideas on how to proceed. Still undecided on what to do though.
Yeah I see what you mean. I didn't give it much of a thought when I did it. Only thought in mind was to add length. I am not sure what room you were planning. In my experience, extra length that lays on and cover the floor doesn't work if it's a smaller or heavy traffic area. However it looks much luxurious if it's a much bigger room.
@@INESsChest It’s my bedroom. 103.5 inches would be my exact floor to bedroom ceiling height. The other thing I saw for lengthening curtains was to cut off the bottom of a curtain and then "insert" another fabric between that long piece and the cutoff piece-looks nice with the right combination. I also just recently stumbled across ‘diy drop cloth curtains’ many RU-vidrs have done. They come in 12 x 9 feet (144 inches x 108 inches), and various other lengths including 15 footers. The only issue is that drop cloth has a more light filtering appearance, so I have to figure out how to add blackout lining, or maybe just double up the drop cloth. Since I have the ikea vidga track, and want the triple pinch pleat look, I’ll have to also get some pleater tape. And now, unfortunately I’m looking at beginning tutorial for sewing.
@@INESsChest … Why is that? I will be going to head down to Home Depot later today and feel their 8 oz and 10 oz drop cloths. I actually considered ordering some 12 oz drops because from all the RU-vid video I’ve seen, the drop cloths (I think they’re all using 8 oz cloths) seem to allow more light penetration than I want. I want something closer to blackout curtains so I’d figure the stiffer (hopefully 12 oz.) would be better, and possibly adding blackout liner. I was even considering making a duvet and pillow cover (both should be something easy for a beginner even if I had to hand sew it) with the same drop cloth. I also did go down to Joann’s a couple of days ago, and most (99%) of the fabric felt too thin to be used for curtains. I considered Etsy for custom curtains, but they were pretty expensive.
What a cute way to say it, frog legs!! :D and yes, belly up and love people are all true here too! He is my first dog of my own and I would choose this breed over any other any time.
Hi Dear!! Hope you are well. I visited your RU-vid channel and your video makingis very good. Your content ideas are very good. Thank you so much ❤ ❤ ❤

yep I’ve got a Chihuahua & she either rips her soft toys to bits or bites her really hard rubber toys into tiny bits 😳 she has even shredded the rope toys like this one 😩 just dunno what toy to get her that she can’t destroy in anyway 😳
@@INESsChest November 2023! We are so excited! Please feel free to share any tips about the process. There's so much I don't know. Your video was so helpful! Did you get your garage floor finished, or did the builder do that?
@@aliciajohnson6443 Yes I can imagine the excitement! We were the same! :D The builder doesn't offer any garage improvement. We got the floor done first because we moved everything there on the moving day and it would be much of a hassle to do it later. There are tons of things to consider, we are still not done with things in the house yet, but much better than the chaos you see in some of my videos. So don't worry, take it step by step and we'll all finally get there!
@@INESsChest Thanks for the information - that makes so much sense to do things like that before you move in. It's exciting but so many things to do! Love your house! :)
@@INESsChest I actually had a thicker fleece but it was the length of the toy not the thickness 🤷♀I guess I should have been more specific. Honestly, did not expect a reply :)
Hi! Just found your page. You mentioned “distended fleece”. Is that a specific pile or type? Is it thicker? Or is that another name for French terry fleece? I’m new to this and want to make sure I use the right fabric. I’m also considering using denim from old jeans. Do you think that would be good?
Hi Mikki, I use anti pill plush fleece, I often buy it from JoAnn. Denim sounds like a good idea, but I will make sure there is no thread come out once your dog started to chew on it. No good if he swallows threads.
I've recently purchased neutrogena mineral sunscreen and watched a vid yesterday about how american sunscreens are not that great as they focus on UVB (prevents sunburn) but not UVA (skin cancer & aging). So I checked the neutrogena one and it says at the back that it prevents sunburn but you need to use with a sunscren product to prevent skin cancer/aging??? Like it says broad spectrum at the front, but that tiny detail at the back basically means that it's only blocking UVB and you'd need something else to block UVA. Is that true?
both Zink oxide and titanium dioxide are good UVA blockers.you need to check active ingredients in the product.some chemical filters are for uvb blockers some are only uva blockers, some has both.zink oxide is powerful uva blockers, titanium is much weaker. Nowadays there aren't sunscreens that hasn't uva protection.
I'm tempted to make one from thick canvas. Every tug toy he's cut through. The extreme Kong bone, the black one not even 20 seconds before there were two pieces. The pineapple lasted him 30 seconds before he took the top off. The only thing that really lasts with him are antlers and a very very old dried out coconuts.
Oh no, I am so sorry to hear that! My dog has everything Kong Black, they last him forever because once the treat is out, he is no longer interested in it! As for the canvas, not sure if you had canvas toys that survived your dog, if so, I think it would work. But remember to tie them really tight, that's what makes it strong. Let us know if it's successful!
