I've seen dozens of different excuses in this game: I'm not in my main role, it's my first of the day, my 10-year-old son was playing, who cares about this game? , I'm dropping my rank to sell my account, I'm testing a character I've never played, among others that I can't remember right now. I've been playing overwatch since 2018 and it's been 2 years since i stop played ranked matches and I haven't missed it. Overwatch 2 has the worst matchmaking of all since its launch. play with 4 other friends or didn't play ranked
3:39 Minute mark you could've saved two of your teammates from the Dva bomb. Instead you pulled back your shield and let them die, after that you wasted your ult on a full HP Dva at 3:54 on a fight that was already lost I started playing this game with some friends around 2017 and managed to climb the ranks on every role. Just focus on yourself, you win some and lose some. As you improve as a player you will slowly start climbing. The only constant in your games is you, when you start being accountable for that it gets easier Good luck on the grind !
also totally agree, my tank plays r sometimes good and most times bad only tanks ive found i can play semi good r sigma and sometimes ram, but i still need to improve 🙏🏾🙌🏾thanks for pointers gang gonna help me improve a lot
I get your points. In my experience i have learned that you should really try to play every character at least a little bit. At least in ranked due to counter swapping being so prevenient and basically if you dont swap after they swap you usually lose.
As a mid-plat Zen/Ana main I will say, you haven't seen our true power yet :P Technically neither have I, as I'm plat, but still! Do not underestimate the power of Nade and Sleep dart. They did buff Zen's discord % a while back and he, uh.... He broke the game. Like it was terrible how bad buffed Discord Orb makes things. No, our little chill monk friend is quite fine where he is. Just work on your aim and get used to the timing on the charged shot so you can peek right as it goes off, that sort of thing. But then, I am a no fear Zen player. If the enemy tank walks on me, I will make him regret it. And popping Widows is oh so satisfying :3 Some of my favorite games in memory had me duelling Widowmakers, it's especially nice when they're a good sport about it. Anyway, I'm rambling. Interesting takes from a new player. I wonder if you'll do a revised version once you have a few more seasons under your belt?
Hi, og player. For some context about bastion players; a lot of them are players from the old game who came back to try it out. Last time we really played, bastion WAS invincible lol. I logged pretty much 60% of my time in overwatch 1 on him so needless to say it’s the main reason the game had lost thrill for me😢
i was watching some old overwatch 1 gameplay and i saw the team all put like 3 separate shields on bastion and he just vaporized the enemy team, they need to buff bastion up ik im a new player but even im missin the old bastion now
There’s a lot of interesting “takes” here to say the least but there’s some misinformation, baptiste heal abilities isn’t just for him it’s an aoe heal the does a burst of heal depending on how much health you have remaining.

I think what happened is that its not really new to you anymore. When i first started genshin, it was amazing, i never saw anything like it and i genuinely loved it. But as time passed, it got boring. I just liked exploring, but at some point, it wasnt fun anymore, and just not rewarding as itvwas at the start.
Not being able to understand how deep the lore is and how it is connected with the Main quest is just sad. Skipping dialogues is wrong on your side there's A LOT of quest related with your siblings if you really have the patience to read it. Some quest are there to get some easy reward just like a regular RPG like helping some NPC to do their errand but its not connected with the plot line. Also about the paywall, all I can say about the new players and casual/fp2 players that it is hard from the beginning to half way of the game(AR 40) much more if you don't understand how elemental reaction works or how stats works it gets easier to grind when you have a reliable team to grind and unlocking things.
One more reason why it got harder for new players is some characters levelling materials is on another nation and it will take a lot of your time just to get there if you haven't unlocked the location.
you are right, i wont even argue with you because your statement is on point in terms of lore and paywalls. so much useless dialogue is presented to the player in so many quests to the point where skipping becomes a habit and i am guilty of this and that is the biggest problem dialogue shouldnt be something you skip through unless your playing the game again from a fresh account, dialogue should be presented well and captivate the player making them want to read more but the game fails in this, and as for paywalls jesus id hate to be a new player who has just discovered the game, its honestly ridiculous, if your a new player your not gonna know what to do, then you go around searching for builds and you see a character you dont have try to get it and end up in dedt along the way, monetisation is cool but only up to a certain point and genshin passed that point years ago
@@M.E.L.O.N_MEL The good thing is GI is starting to give players a feature to make it much more accessible(next few patch they'll add the dialogue button where you can read the parts you accidentally skipped) albeit the problem really won't be fully resolve since it's an open world where you can only get materials for your characters where it is originated(Me, personally if I'm a new player it would spell doom if I pulled a inazuman character). If you're still interested and haven't skipped a big chunk i suggest going for the main world quest ( I categorized world quest by Main world quest and sub as i mentioned on my first comment). As for Story quest its totally unrelated since its there for introduction for characters but there is a few story quest still connected with your main objective in the game.
Ngl I also do not really like Genshin anymore but I disagree on the story tbh. I know it is your own opinion and that is fine but I do think Genshin has put out some good story acts. There are issues in the presentation, like the abysmal yapping and irrelevance. But honestly the story post-Inazuma has been pretty good. Where the disconnect lies for me is the presentation like I said and also I feel like Genshin does not respect their characters. The game feels so stagnant now and Hoyoverse has not shown they want to take the game in a meaningful direction and I feel like that's painfully obvious with all the same game modes, the same gameplay loop, character kits are rarely ever fresh and new. I agree that the game feels like a slog now and it's why I quit.
You are completely right, damn i should have you as my writer, The story in it self is good some might even say “unique” but up to a certain point the idea is good but god does hoyo not know how to present what they want the story to be, so many hours of just nothing then bam something it sometimes makes fuck nah sense and to a new player would be absolutely ridiculous even if they are playing for gameplay only, they treat their characters like they are throw away npcs, every now and again a new character is added to the slot machine and every other character before is forgotten, amber has not had a update in how long?😭so many kits need fixing so many characters need more story and so much dialogue and deliverance needs to be fixed, the story good but god do they not know how to present it, also ur now my official writer and im takin this comment for my next video as compensation
I somewhat disagree. The story is really good. However, the problem the game has is the endless amount of dialog. Now, with five regions released (six in just about three more months) and hundreds of quests, it's daunting to even try to understand or get into. Some world quests are hours long with UNVOICED dialog at that. So it's just hours of reading and reading. Some quests like the smaller world quests are just meant for content, it's not meant to have lore it's just meant to be a content filler. The bigger quests are where that issue comes back into play. Hours of content, hours upon hours of lore that some people don't care about or don't want to spend hours reading bc (outside of archon quests), they are not voiced. It's just piles of dialog with npcs that you don't care about because why would you bother reading all that to get an understanding and care for said npcs.
The lore does go deep though. Like really deep. There's an island where children literally got sacrificed to a giant bird. A region where children got burned alive due to political reasons in enkanomiya. There's a character who literally tried to defy fate itself and made everyone in the world forget he even existed. A living puppet. The fatui harbinger hold a lot of plot and importance. The entire thing with Khaneri'ah holds so much important to the main character. Not to mention characters have a lot of depth and lore to them (i.e Scaramouche now known as Wanderer, Albedo, literally all the archons especially Furina and Nahida.) So yeah no, the story isn't bad. It's just hard to get into bc the game puts it all behind layers of quests that no one who isn't a lore player would want to read.
And because you skipped so much (which I don't blame you, it's awful the game needs to add a skip button cuz it's just overwhelming amount of dialog.) You haven't gotten to really see the story. Which again, I get it. Inherently, it's not a story issue, it's a storytelling issue. So yeah (´- `*)
i totally agree, the game has such good lore and the events of the world really put into perspective the kind of world it is but its all overshadowed by the mountains of endless reading about random quests that probably mean something but you wont know because you have spent hours reading for one quest and it all turned out to be trash. so much dialogue is presented to you and you have to read it and go "yes indeed" when half of it is just nonsense, i whole heartedly admit my faults in skipping all the dialogue just to get to the main stage of the story but when the game gives u so much useless text like that at some point you just stop caring which is a problem that affects a lot of the og players and will definitely impact the new players a lot. presentation is a must in any game and well here.. they didnt show any.
I believe it's worsened by the fact that games that have so much lore (like genshin does) are very often broken into a series of games rather than just one. So it heavily how much tedious reading you have to do. Because those games are able to break them down into a digestible format while with genshin, due to the nature of the game. Is fundamentally unable to do that because it's one massive game with the story releasing with every update rather than the lore being dropped through multiple games in a less overwhelming format. Imagine if Genshin was in your more typical format of lore heavy video games, every region (or every few regions), it's a whole new game rather than one massive game. But because the type of game Genshin is, the content will only increase with every update, so it will only get more mindless dialog. I understand not getting a skip button for the archon quests, but small world quests that hold no important should get that bc it just gets tedious when you have five regisons full of yapping sessions you do not care about. There's no reason I have to sit through a whole anime filler episode for an npc I will see once and then never again Tldr. Hoyo add a god damn skip button 🥲
For me wuwa and HSR both outperform go by miles. They have no excuse for the trash that is 4.3 to 4.7 Fontaine main story was peak gi the problem is 4.3 to 5 is forgettable garbage with no real point. 4.6 seemed like it would be amazing arlicino and all but turns into the orphan kids quest with a cool animated video couple of weeks previously that spoiled over half the story. The MC also forgotten to use multiple elements. 4.7 bedtime story meeting our sibling after 5 years and that is the crap they give us plus skipping the dain fight. Yawn. HSR though same company is 10 times better in how the players are treated and time respected Wuwa also is a strong competition now
exactly, its not like they are just a bad company, they know damn well how to treat their players and games yet for some reason with GI they just took every left turn they saw and ran with it, so many updates so many more to come and yet they all just always end up being trash or are completely forgot about 3 days later because something "new" or "better" is apparently coming.
@@legendaryswordsman653 For bedtime story they did it intentionally they did it before on Sumeru Archon Quest they didn't show any fighting scene until the character is released. If they showed what happened in the dain fight we will see the power of Dain and that kills the excitement when Dain is released as character or if not then as a Boss.

THE DUDE WHO NEVER CARED DIED FOR SOMETHING HE CARES FOR... the ultimate irony of his life... When he finally got what he cared for all in one place and he died immediately after it...

Eh, one thing I'll say in defense of Vesemir's evident disregard for strangers is he's an old witcher, he's been dealing with the height of stranger's scorn and abuse for being a helpful freak for centuries. I can't exactly blame him for being apathetic to their everyday plights if they're not paying All in all nice to hear a different opinion on his death in the game
Always tried to see that point of view but idk maybe i haven’t read enough on the lore cause i still dont like him, yes he’s been at it for a while but rejecting to help people including some monsters just because u don’t like them is doing the same thing humans do towards witchers
