I used to watch you quite a while ago. Do you remember Tim Schmoyer? when he was active on RU-vid coaching before he took his long time off I was studying back then but never did get a RU-vid channel going. well, now I am back and watching your content as well as Sean cannel, Vanessa Lau and a few others. I am finally getting the chance to focus and really put a big effort into this RU-vid creation idea! it is time to really focus and make a real go on this RU-vid thing. thank you for this video and letting us see your process and understand your journey. It is really helpful. :)
I used to care about views and subscribers not anymore I'm not fussy at all whatever numbers of views I get on my videos I'm happy even if it's just me watching my own video and being that 1 viewer.
Thanks B to the G. What you said at the end there really solidifies for me that the choice I already made is ok. I review products primarily that are sent to me for review. If I niched down to headphone and headset videos, my Channel would do better I'm sure. However, the repetitive content would drive me insane. So I'm perfectly fine with having a good amount of variety and products that are highly searched pop off, others don't.
I got a taste of success 5 months ago during the summer with 45k views. Now, it's 80k+ views and over 100 subs. I do GTA online car content if anyone is interested.
Another good one my friend! My test and compares are all still running. I am trying to put more thought into my titles too, appreciate that tip. Working on scheduling videos out for the next week or two since I will be moving. Which by the way, a friend of mine that lives in Denver sent me a couple of pictures of Durango, y'all keep that cold weather up there for two more weeks please...hahaha Closing crew for life! Hmm, maybe you need some shirts with that on it.
Hey my friend, did you see that I mentioned you in a video a while ago. I don’t know if I was hard on you, but I just kind of spoke from the heart. I had good intentions to help you move forward.
Started my Finance channel a few weeks ago. Still working on getting new subscribers and views but always need to remind myself that slow and steady increases are probably better in the long run. I've seen a few channels lately trying to create communities where everyone subscribes to each other which seems great in theory until the algorithm starts pushing your content to these new "community" subscribers and they don't continue to watch your content and then your videos tank! They seem only concerned about upping their subscriber count and not really looking at the long term picture. You've subscribed to hundreds of community members but will never be able to continue to watch all of their new videos. I think it's a nice idea but probably won't help in the long run. What are your thoughts on this method for building your channel?
I'm loving your latest content 😍. It's been a game changer for me. Can you go into how you come up with video ideas that you can do to upload more regularly, please?
Actually wanted to cover that very thing and it’ll probably happen in the next week or so. No promises but it’s one of the things I’ve been thinking about deeply titles topics…
I’m so glad this one connected with you, my friend. I tried to take my time today and it felt pretty nice. I didn’t feel rushed. I didn’t feel under pressure. Even though I was filming this video just minutes before a meeting. I think that’s just where I’m at. You can get there to my friend. Sending you peace and power.
👍 Thanks for biting the bullet on our behalf to test this out. I haven't done any ads on any of my channels, this was great info you shared. That guy getting 3k subs sounded great though, but it's all relative.
Closing crew mate, thank you very much for sharing, and I agree because it is challenging to create a title and thumbnail when you have no idea what the video is going to contain. I have started this week to post two times a week
Yeah, I personally find the spending a little bit of time jotting down, talking points and or writing a script starts generating ideas for a title and a thumbnail and I think this title and thumbnail is pretty spot on. It could be better. I’m sure but the title generally speaking I think it’s pretty compelling anyway I’m glad you found this one to be helpful my friend.
Is the youtube A,B,C pic thumbnail benchmark test fair? I dont know for me it gives low CTR when i use it. Do you think give a few days for each thumbnail isolated is better? Some people even complain it only supposedly measures duration viewed but not ctr rate ? Help. 😮 thx 😊.
It really depends on the actual thumbnails and how well they are optimized to drive clicks as well as the size of the audience. If you haven’t watched the video that I did on “hidden settings,” from a few days ago, I really advise you to watch it goes into depth.
You always bring the HEAT! Thanks for all the great advice. I can't stop thinking of that AI voice thing lol I feel like it's a great tool for business. I don't think i'll use it for our channel, but maybe for other stuff :) Thanks for the frequent posts!
Yeah, I’m sorry. I put that in your head. It was a challenge for me too. Do I put it on on my channel or not? I felt like you and others needed to know what was out there.
@@BriangjohnsonTv You’ve added immense value by increasing our awareness-thank you! It’s another useful tool for the tool box. We appreciate the risks you take on your channel. Now off to lake county to enjoy a few more swings before the snow hits! ❄🏔
It’s coming. AI and it’ll change everything. The fact of the matter is, I think a lot of people think creators will be replaced and they won’t be. But how we create will be different. The majority will always still be in front of the camera. But there are a lot of things we can do to add to our videos and this was just an experiment to kind of show off what’s possible today
I've encountered many negativity from some people but this guy give the good vibes. As a fellow creator myself starting out around 3 months ago, I do appreciate you a lot mate. I wish i can have 0.5% of your watch time and subs 😂 but you deserve it 1000000%+ Stay blessed and good day 😊
Wait…what?? That’s hilarious! And scary. It wasn’t until someone’s comment popped up that I questioned the reality of this. This is how so many podcasts made by my US friends sound to me as a Brit. 😂 this tool sounds like a useful research tool, but I’d hate for RU-vid to be flooded with AI podcasts 😮 it’s kinda the opposite of authenticity, right? Then again, flood away - maybe those of us building our realness will stand out more 🎉😂
I really like NotebookLM, it's expanding the content I can make. I'm not using it to replace my talking head videos, but like right now when I've not been so well, I've repurposed a blog post I wrote & uploaded it to YT as a podcast, not a regular video. I'm doing another one soon & I did a lot of editing to remove the 'it's like' and 'totally' 😅 that it loves to use. New is not always bad, just different 😊
It’s interesting that it basically creates video scripts, it researches, and it even creates a podcast based on the information you feed the tool. So in my case, I generated output based on my previous videos and it was really helpful.
Well I went and watched the other video before I commented on this one. Pretty cool free tool. Wouldn't you have to click on "Altered content"? I realize it isn't a person or a generated scene, but it is AI generated voices. I could see some benefits of this tool though. Thanks for sharing my friend.
Probably best to click that button for sure to be safe. However, it kind of talks about really if someone may be confused on the content, and if you’re trying to spoof or create a digitally altered version of somebody. Anyway, it’s great.
