Well done. I had a Husqvarna where the rear plate cracked pulling my cyclone rake that was fully loaded with leaves. I did the same thing and all is well.
well great video, I am building a 2550,bought the hydro transaxle , just picked up the frame steer sector was frozen,fixed that had to cut the welded stud and drill it out of the casting ' I'm installing a 10hp diesel on this baby,.I noticed you use this mainly for tractor . I have a zero turn for cutting so this will be strickly for tractor use. I was wondering how to utilize the deck handle for some operational attachment any suggestions ?
Could I do this on a pool that is a couple years old, if I take it down. Mine has some really bad rust spots and I dont want to have to buy another pool. It seems i have to replace mine every 3-4 years.
@@susanm8975 That's exactly what I did I repainted old parts after sanding off the rust it was about 3 years old and looked like garbage right now it's still looking good well in the second season without any ruat yet so definitely better than stock so far

My belt is completely taught without the tension engaged. I did not miss any retention tabs or route it incorrectly. It is so tight I believe the blades will instantly engage even with the tensioner down so I am afraid to start it. I am fairly certain I was given the wrong belt. Nothing else makes sense to me.
thank you brother for the effort. video was surprisingly easy to follow. saved me a LOT of time and effort. Hardest part was getting that plastic cover off. One tip - to get that new belt over the last pulley, just turn one of the blades by hand for extra torque. My tractor was the Craftsman LT1000 v twin , 22 years old still running. Thanks again Ed

Yeah, it's a shame it was built on such a weak foundation. They just have to cut corners more and more. How much money was saved by skimping on the metal? Not enough to fix a tarnished reputation.

About a case. I only foamed the ends to seal it. the rest is hollow. Season 2 and not seeing rust yet, it was rusty before after 3 months. So far so good.
So i have an odd question. I just picked myself up a gt2544. Tractor runs awesome. Dose what it should or so i think. So when i push the forward Pedal it goes forward and then will cost to a stop unless i push the brakes. When i push reverse pedal it goes bachwards and when i let off it stops very Abruptly. Like i ran into a brick wall. Are these Normal operation characteristics? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
There are two 3/8 bolts in a slide track connector underneath the tractor below the pedal. You can make adjustments to the pedal travel there. I would try that.
You are correct. Everything and I mean everything leaked on my North Star pull behind sprayer. I just hooked my sprayer behind my side x side for the first time after winter storage and the pump won’t prime. It’s always something with North Star sprayers.
They are temperamental but the least crappy of all the spayers I've tried. The new pump, still going strong, never had a leak since I did the Teflon paste. Everything still good since this video.
