@HatmanXIIX what are you asking about? This conversation happened in camp after the Act II final encounter (the one that happens as you rest between Act II and Act III) if you talk to Us before going back to sleep
I decided near the beginning of making these videos that I would restrict myself to Standard. There are a couple reasons for this. It proves that they are in fact perfectly achievable with only the cards currently in rotation. It makes it more accessible to all players (especially newer ones that may not have a Wild collection). And also I don’t want to go recrafting my cards that rotated out, which I dust to try to keep up with Standard as much as possible while spending as little money as possible on packs
I am flattered that you think I'm good enough to know the answer to this. Unfortunately, actually winning games is not very easy to me. Also Hunter tends towards the aggro side and that is very much not my forte. I will say I often see token hunter builds with Jungle Gym and they give me a lot of trouble due to how quickly they can pile up damage. Try that out?
I made the decision to keep my tactics to Standard format in order to be useful to the most people. Players who are newer to the game are much less likely to have Wild cards (especially the expensive to craft legendaries), and I don't want to provide tactics that require them.
Thank you for the guide, love them, they make it easier to complete achievement, when one wants to. Also this one could be made easier in Wild, since there are more "Bomb Shuflle" cards that can count towards the achievement (at least the weapon did count, when I tried couple weeks ago). I think this one can go nicely with the "Lab Patron" achievement, since they are using a lot of same cards
Thank you. Yes, there are many achievements that can be done easier in Wild, but I'm keeping my videos to the standard format to be accessible to a wider range of players. Also, while there are many achievements that can be done together, I'm following a format of focusing each video on one. I actually take steps to try to ensure I'm not accidentally making progress on multiple achievements. Keeping them separate means it's easier to search for specifically the achievement someone may be having trouble with. It might not be a bad plan to mention achievements that can work together in the comments? But in many cases, that would require a different deck than what I present in order to make progress on both. So I keep it simple and compartmented.
@@Turantula I think you mentioned in your video with Pally achievement from miniset that it is a nice way of getting Play xx gigantify minions as well. But I understand the reasoning, sadly this expansion only few achievement can be completed by playing regular standard decks (or it is just my feeling), bc the card needed for achievement are not much played
@jannavratil8460 it's true, I did mention a different achievement there and even linked those videos to each other in the description. That was kind of a special case - in the course of completing the neutral achievement I accidently did step one of the Paladin one because I failed to check ahead of time, and then it turned out the best thing to do to finish that one off was to just keep using the same deck.
Yeah I saw I just haven't had time to get back to it yet. Honestly I think my enthusiasm was permanently damaged a little bit but I am planning to take a look this weekend
I agree in some ways. He certainly had an understandable level of grief, which pushed him to truly despicable acts. I bet he could have made a good final boss. That being said, I believe the story does work perfectly well as written.
It's almost like the devs harshly punish you for not constantly spending money in their glorified gambling simulator (which happens to have a minigame called 'Hearthstone' to keep you hooked.) Might be worth finding a different game.
No. Wild certainly works, or arena even can make you progress (but some are just not feasible there). I think you basically just can't (challenge a friend) or (practice mode against the tavern AI) for them because that would be too exploitable
You're welcome! This was one of the more tedious grinds too, with very limited ability to make consistent or reliable progress. I hope you are able to get it (or have gotten it) without too much trouble!
It's true, Zilliax has been nerfed and this strategy no longer works. The best advice I could give now is maybe a Leroy strategy? But I haven't had time to test it
@@XavierVandenberghe it really is rough, though it is a LITTLE easier now that he's only 5 mama. He's still a bad card. I'm sorry it caused you so much frustration
Thank you so much! I'm sorry I hadn't responded to this yet. I didn't even see the notifications for this or your other comment on my Spring Cleaning video until just now.
I wanted to let you know I made a video for the Therazane achievement (Call of the Stonemother). I hope you like it and that it's helpful! Thank you so much for watching!
Thanks again for another awesome video. I hope you don't mind me posting this below but as someone who NEVER plays Rogue (not a fan of the class playstyle) I wanted to show the exact order of how the cards need played as you showed in your video to pull it off before you run out of time: miniaturized sandbox scoundrel shoplifter treasure distributor shadow step - miniaturized sandbox scoundrel sandbox scoundrel miniaturized sandbox scoundrel southsea deckhand southsea deckhand Please note I did this with 9 mana....I *think* you have to have at least 9 mana to pull this off.
I’m sure there are multiple ways to make it happen. IMO this achievement is especially irritating because it requires such precision or you’ll screw yourself out of it due to board space or the rope. I’d even go so far as to call this one poorly designed. That being said, your sequence does look slightly easier to pull off than what I ended up doing. I make no claims to having the perfect decks for these achievements, I’m just sharing what worked for me in the hopes that they can be helpful to someone somewhere. Anyway I’m glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for the feedback as well!
Not sure if you're focused on doing these in standard, but you can rip through this one easily in wild. Keep most of the draw, add an efficient octobot or Thaurisian and you're cooking. Took me two games.
Oh certainly Wild has LOTS of tools to make these easier. I wanted to do them in Standard for two main reasons: (a) I think the information will be more relevant to a wider set of players. Especially those newer to the game who may simply not have a whole bunch of Wild cards to dip into, and (b) When they first split into Wild and Standard they did not make it clear that Wild cards would still be useful for upcoming PvE content or that the whole Duels mode would come out that could make use of plenty of old cards, so I dusted my Wild cards almost immediately after they rotated out so I could more easily keep up with the Standard meta. I've regretted that decision many times over, but (with very few exceptions, mainly if a piece of PvE content is just begging for a particular card) I have not recrafted hardly anything in Wild. Now, I have since then learned not to disenchant my Legendary cards when they rotate out, at least. Epics and lower can be recrafted if I really need them for much less effort.
I haven't even tried this achievement yet because I thought the minion had to survive for 6 turns so I'm REEEEALLY GLAD it works like this lol. Thanks for the vid!
@@Turantula I got it on my second try too :) Now just Druid and Priest ach. left to get (Haven't pulled any jade cards from new set out of 120+ packs lol)
Just wanted to say thank you for posting your Whizbang achievement success stories and deck suggestions, greatly appreciated. Clever strategies and ideas for all classes, I was able to get them all pretty easily thanks to your tutorials and example matches - this Rogue + the neutral Mustache achievements were definitely the trickiest for me, heh
The meta is brutal these days that's very true. Sometimes if I'm just getting beat down too much in Standard at my rank I'll pop over to Wild and play against the bronze ranks. Of course that only works for me because I don't normally play wild so my rank is super low there (but also in all fairness Wild decks can be insane at any rank so still no real guarantees). I will say I've been trying like mad to make a jade display deck work and right now it just doesn't. Druid would basically need Dew Process (or it's equivalent) back to make it approach viable. All that being said, I still don't think it's literally impossible. Just really hard.
Dude, I was having so much trouble with this fight and then I found this video. Thank you for keeping it uploaded. I had been saving Magatha for the bigger plays later in the game but I switched tactics after seeing this and got him on my third try. You've ended two days (probably 50+ attempts) of suffering. Thank you!
I am using OBX, and I checked its settings. It is recording in 1080. But Filmora was only exporting in 720. I didn't even notice. I guess next time Filmora self updates I'm going to see if it reverted back again. Ugh that's annoying. It's too late for this video unfortunately (I don't have the disk space to keep a library of my recordings) but I'm going to be verifying that moving forward.
I had this fight at level 3, also got those npc's to help. I barely survived the encounter. Had to use tons of health potions and needed to ressurect gale afterwards 😂
Can you be more specific? I will say this is an RP playthrough so some of that is reacting to the situations as the character would, as he wouldn't know what's coming up.
@@ragecounterfit309 is it? Dumb to role play in a role playing game? Maybe you think I'm shooting myself in the foot because it's Honour Mode? I seem to be doing ok so far though. I'm betting i can do this. We'll see I suppose. The spider matriarch is the next boss battle I'll face and i don't though I'm too far away (relatively speaking, unfortunately i don't have as much time as I'd like to dedicate to making videos so progress is slow)
@@MichaelS5400 well that's why i asked for more details. I'm open to feedback. I make no claims on being a professional here. Telling me I'm bad is fine i suppose but it's only useful if it comes with how it could be improved.
