Keeping this scene would have created a different continuity error. Qui-Gon cuts down this droid. Then in the next scene a different droid makes a report to Darth Maul. Anyone who didn't remember that there were three droids would potentially confuse the one making the report with the one that was destroyed. And even if they didn’t, how did that droid know that Qui-Gon was the Jedi Darth Maul was looking for? The way it is is the least confusing alternative because we see that Darth Maul is riding out to go get them and thus can do the math that Qui-Gon is able to sense this because he's a Jedi Master and Anakin can't because he's untrained and therefore confused as to why they're running.
Ewan and natalie reaction to after 3PO falling is fucking hilarious! Its full of empathy, but unrestrained "i know i shouldn't laugh, but i can't fucking help it" 😂😢😂
At end of day I really realized that actor’s job it put in a fantasy but this shidd is no fantasy😂😂😂😂 “oh hate u” in the name of darth Vader the most evil being ever in the galaxy 😂😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
The best is that C3PO fell during what looks like the instemse scene where Obi Wan tells Padme whats going on with Anakin 😅 itd be hard to get back into character.
The cut it because george wanted this to actually be original work and not rely on member-berries to make it entertaining. Unlike a certain corporation, I can think of that owns Star Wars now and has no clue how to write stories. Now they just go look it cgi Luke that doesn't act like Luke at all or look it's a wookie working on something mechanical.....
You can just see how much they enjoyed making these films. I miss THIS Star Wars. The new stuff is so bad, there is no chemistry with the actors, a bunch of egos and nobodies.
