Some videos I've captured over the last year. From my grandma's in New Brunswick to the shores of the Pacific Ocean on Vancouver Island, I've been very fortunate to see some of the best that Canada has to offer.
Hi Shey, The Holt Renfrew building was torn down but the outside facade was saved and re-used on the outside of the building on 8th Ave between 3rd & 4th Street SW. Penny Lane was a collection of many buildings which did not receive any Heritage status. All buildings were demolished with nothing being saved. Too much is torn down. There are archives at the Glenbow Museum with an extensive photography collection if you want to see what yesteryear looked like.
Very interesting!! It's sad that so many of the beautiful old buildings have been torn down. I am curious about the building that Holt Renfrew was in before the new one and before Penny Lane, I think it was on 7th avenue do you have any information on that??
