Out of curiousity would you mess with the in game adjustments for offense and defense(Holding blocks, Catching, Big run, and tempo for offense. Big hit, strip ball, zone coverage, Option defense, and qb contain for defense) or would you leave them alone? I'f I asked this already sorry for asking again
@@ncaa14chill5 Thanks. Also do you know how the run/pass ratio sliders work? I'm asking because i'm trying to replicate the tendencies of a Shanahan/wide zone offense and i'm using the Boise State Playbook. As of right now my run pass ratios are 25 75 leaning towards the run, but I'm trying to achieve these results: 29. 4 running attempts and 28.9 passing attempts but I'm not sure the ratios are 100% close, but what I've seen they might be the closest to matching my desired results
@@nathanielraker2820 - The run pass ratios are for the opposing team, unless you are using the coach mode dynasty feature. You might want to focus on the head coach offensive aggression in order to fine tune your dynasty. Try 55/45 offensive aggression.
I deleted that dynasty. Will start a new one with this coach. My primary purpose for this channel is to create the best settings/sliders, so everyone can enjoy the game to the fullest extent possible.
@@floridagatorsfootballfan2024 - Varsity isn't difficult enough for me (or realistic). I would have to refer you to Playmaker's Varsity Sliders on Operation Sports
think you would need to use chew clock a lot. My goal was to avg 140 plays per game. each team anywhere from 50 to 90 plays. 9 mins I’ve settled for 120 plays per game to save time. 7 mins
Thanks for the comment. I'm testing another slider set and I would like you to try 1 or 2 games with the following settings. Heisman, 10 spd threshold, All Penalties set at 56 (except for roughing the passer, which should be set at 54), User/CPU sliders at 50.
@@ncaa14chill5 I tried them last night on 2 games. For some reason had to put interceptions way down to 30 for CPU or any pass in semi tight coverage was an automatic Interception. So working on the interception slider today to find a good balance
@@SEEKN_SOLITUDE - Yeah for sure... Adjust them to your liking. It forces me to really read if my WR is open. Route running and agility matters more than pure spd, acc. While I'm reading the defense, I usually end up taking a sack if I hold the ball more than 3 seconds.
@@ncaa14chill5 I was getting animations over powering the realism. Safetys became overpowering for CPU and doing a slide like glitch run to Intercept the pass. Gonna tinker with it today
Heisman. Game speed - Normal. 10 spd threshold. HFA on. Fatigue on. Penalties all set to 56 (except for Roughing The Passer set to 54).USER/CPU sliders all set to 50.

Both. Note - Change the Penalties to 56, except for roughing the passer. Set Roughing the passer to 54. (With the penalties set here, you no longer have to update the coaching aggression sliders). Each coach/team plays to their strengths. Thanks for commenting and let me know how the sliders are working for your dynasty.
lol with your updated sliders 10 threshold and penalties all at 53 I had a grrreat game honestly thought I would lose won 29-28 with VT vs smu but it was a dandy. Are you adjusting those coach tendencies every game? I must have missed that but smu who I consider to be pretty heavy passing didn’t shy away throwing.
@@ncaa14chill5 Im mostly asking about the pre game coaching tendencies like run/pass, aggressive/conservative, or Cpu No huddle for offense and defense.
@@nathanielraker2820 - If I see a coach with an Air Raid offense, I'll change the run/pass ratio to 55/45 or 60/40. This will increase the team's tendency to pass more (like an Air Raid offense should). Change the off aggression to 65/35. If the head coach is running a pistol, pro, or one back offense, I do not make any changes to the run pass ratio. As long as the offensive aggression is somewhere between 55/45 or 60/40. Some coaches run the ball more than others. (Try the penalty sliders all at 56, except for Roughing the Passer at 54). The CPU defensive secondary will play man/zone like real life).
@@Footballrivalscollege - Go into coach info -> Find the Head Coach -> Change the playbook -> (Set the Offensive Aggression to 55/45) -> Press start to save. New freaking game.
No playbooks with money plays. No switch rule on defense, unless I'm losing in the 4th quarter. Only recruit players interested in your school. No recruiting 4 or 5 star players that no one else is recruiting. See recent video with new settings. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9DD119Ia8y4.html
“Best settings/ sliders for ncaa 14!!” - the settings; “Default!”. Lol no but the coach settings I never even thought about that! Definitely gonna check it out thanks man.
I tried your sliders on Heisman for 8 games I had an halftime lead of 14 points or better in all 8 games. I lost 6 of those games. I'm going back to All-American because the CPU cheats the hell out of you in the second half. It's like of a sudden the team becomes Superman after halftime. #FuccHeisman 😂
24 Speed Threshold gives you the most realistic speed difference among all the players. OL are able to get to the 2nd level. Fast LB's are able beat OL on toss plays. 88 SPD WR will beat 85 SPD CB. You will really see the difference in gameplay. Try it.
@Ncaa14 and Chill I like these sliders as they do keep the competitive matchups close, but I'm having issues with my Qb. He is a pocket Passer with a John Elway like skillset has a 99 Awareness and while he threw 35-37 touchdowns he threw 18 picks which is very high. I thought a Qb with a high Awareness would make less mistakes. Is it the sliders or is it matchups?
Sam Hartman (Wake Forest) now with Notre Dame threw 39 TDS to 12INTS. I think it's pretty accurate. www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs/current/individual/8
The game speed on slow plays horribly. Your RB is stuck in quicksand. Call an HB Toss, Screen Pass or catch the ball with a WR. The player will immediately slow down for 3 steps.
I can’t do the computer having a QB that sucks go off on me ,I like the settings but I want the computer to play to the talent of there team . Not give the computer help
Looking forward to trying these settings out but wanted to follow up on crookedicon post Do these settings make every team good or is your experience that bad teams still be bad? If I have the top defense, and continue recruiting the best, I’d like to see the defense shut down the softies and then be challenged by better teams, or a stud qb on bad team.
@@twiider My experience is that good teams, play good; bad teams, play bad, great teams, play spectacularly. 2. Please check out the new settings. Default Heisman, 24 speed threshold. No other changes are needed. Trust me. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mU6K9Juqsco.html
@@ncaa14chill5 Is 65/35 still good for Aggressive/Conservative settings or does it need to be different? I'm also trying have good cpu vs cpu game play/playcaling but I don't know how to achieve it.
@@nathanielraker2820 Default Heisman 24 speed threshold. Do not change the aggressive/conservative settings. Doing this will give you what you are looking for.
I needed to see more explosive plays (which you will see in your own dynasty, if you try these new settings). What I also saw was better A.I. play, pancakes, penalties (in key situations- a holding call, facemask, or roughing the passer), the QB throwing deep against 2 man under and cover 3. The HB cutting back correctly, weaving the holes in the OL, seeing him accelerate past an LB, and take it to the house.
I saw better A.I. gameplay. The RB will cut back on a HB stretch play. The 90spd WR will beat the 85 spd DB in man coverage and Cover 3 zone coverage. The pocket passer QB will move in the pocket and shred you. You'll see pancakes by the OL.
You should start a series from the beginning. Show us the team your gonna be . Introduce the players, walk us through recruiting and do a few seasons. Each episode show a game or two . I think it would be really successful. Your commentary is gold bro !
I tried it I wouldn’t say super overpowered but def harder I’m 0-2 and I’ve been playing with cgators sliders and I switched to this and I think this is harder
@@garrettrisner110 good to hear. I’m currently 6-5 with JMU year 1. Definitely getting good games but still impossible to stop my offense. Putting up 34 a game
@@garrettrisner110 yeah I have pass coverage at 100 and rush defense at 80. I’ve been messing with penalty sliders but I can’t seem to figure out a challenging one
Idk why but I’m never getting any injuries in any of my dynasties and I have a lot . I’ve maybe gotten two injuries in 10+ dynasties . Just wondering if you have the problem too. Not saying I want everybody on my team injured every game but it adds to the realism when you lose a few guys throughout the season
Two suggestions: 1.) When your player gets a minor injury in the game, an option pops up which asks you "Do you want to put your player back in?' Play them. They will get seriously hurt. 2.) With your offensive coordinator. Do not allocate points, to the injuries/fatigue block.
@@ItsWickked True. You do see better animations however there's a trade off with gameplay. Your RB or WR will be super slow for 3-4 steps which allows the defense to catch you.
Heisman- Default penalty, Human, CPU sliders all set at 50 8 Min Quarters (Gives you 60-70 plays, per game, per team) Game Speed Normal Speed Threshold 50 Fatigue On HFA On Must have!! Edit the Head coach of the team you will be playing that particular week. Go to Coach Info and set the Offensive Aggressive/Conservative ratio to 65/35 and the Defensive Aggressive/Conservative ratio to 40/60. The passing game for the CPU will be phenomenal. Deep Bombs. You do not need to edit the Offensive or Defensive Coordinators.
