How come there is only 1 percent improvement makes it a better tool? Why did you not compare its performance with state of the art language models like SCBERT, TOSICA, tGPT, SCGPT etc and so on ?
Hi @ahteshamabbasi9503 While the language models you've suggested are undoubtedly powerful tools, our focus during MapCell's development was on comparing its performance against widely used, publicly available methods that were not overly complex. Furthermore, MapCell is particularly well-suited for scenarios where there are limited numbers of cells per group, such as in the context of small clusters associated with specific diseases or patient outcomes (PFS). Hi Joshua, thanks for reaching out! Yes we have previously worked with Nanopore technology and our kits are compatible. You would need to use the ONT kits to generate compatible libraries after cDNA generation. At this point unfortunately we do not offer solutions for FFPE tissue.
