U can't see v's face , but u know and feel what he feels at the moment she's reborn ! Although it's completely opposite , he was reborn by fire she's reborn by rain
What is so amazing about William Hurt's acting ability is that he can speak English with a strange semi-british accent, yet still create the illusion that he is speaking in Russian. Even Daniel Day Lewis was never able to pull that off! Hurt was one f he greatest actors of his generation. RIP
In my country I am probably the only one to know about Dave Allen, and that is from youtube. He is a master storyteller, being it funny or macabre or both. This is a rare talent even among screenwriters and writers at large. Here in Brasil oral storytelling is somthing that in some regions is praised, a lot of small towns and villagea have their "official" storytellers. I am geateful that todays tech could introduce me to the work of Dave Allen
“V: That's it! See, at first I thought it was hate too. Hate was all I knew, it built my world, it imprisoned me, taught me how to eat, how to drink, how to breathe... I thought I'd die with all my hate in my veins. But then something happened. It happened to me... Just as it happened to you.. Evey: Shut up! I don't want to hear your lies! V: Your own father said that artists use lies to tell the truth. Yes.. I created a lie, but because you believed it, you found something true about yourself.„ ~ V and Evey
Being reborn is the most painful yet wonderful experience. You felt it one time and some only ever feel it one time in their entire life and forget it after decades of programming from this simulation we live in.
It is because pride pulls you back in, not to mention those who want to profit materially off their new-found knowledge, and those who seek power (like many so-called gurus and teachers) The tools Satan used in the desert to tempt the newly awoken Jesus. Although I prefer the lessons Monkey went thru in the "Journey to the West"---as they are just as relevant... In the I-Ching--after Thunder, comes the Marsh (which most get stuck in....). Don't be confused by kensho (a glimpse of enlightenment) and satori (full-realization...). Kensho is only Step 3 out of 10 (if using the 10 Ox Pictures...).
Brilliantly written and acted. And that line is even more powerful and prescient today: Lies are not freedom. Try telling it to the sheep. You get the same reaction.
