Calving season is rough on everybody, livestock, ranchers, farmers and homesteaders. I’ve seen it first hand and my heart goes out to the calves having a rough start in life. God bless all of our ranchers and farmers. I have a deep respect and admiration for each and every one of them. Remember, compassion goes a long way in this life and may God bless each and every one of you. TGBTG
Thank you, Scott. It was a long day and things were winding down. I’m sorry things in California don’t seem so bright at the moment. Also, that is a good song. I hope you have a good weekend.
It is going to get disked and hipped into rows. the grass on the left side of the furlow was planted in October 2023 for a cover crop. It is a mixture of rye, wheat, oats, peas, rape, crimson clover, turnips and radishes. The three acres to the left of the fence line will get plowed under and it will be a mixture of yellow dent and sweet corn.
I hope all of my family, friends, and followers have a very, merry Christmas. I hope each of you get every single blessing you pray for. Also, let us not forget the reason for Christmas. For it was Christmas day that our Lord and Savior "Jesus Christ" was born unto us so that all of our sins may be forgiven and we may have ever lasting life in the Kingdom of Heaven.
