The window in the building was my Classroom, and my desk is still in there! About 100 meters to the right was Blacktown's First Public Telephone.
I've been in Blacktown, Newton Rd, since 1951. Horses delivered the bread and milk and vegetables. No made roads then. I remember the first public telephone. My first school is a Museum now.
