It really should be illegal to rebuild a dam once it fails. I don't care how many rich white boomers are mad that their lake front houses are now riverfront houses. They'll get over it.

I'm doing a project at school and i'd like to ask a question. Who and/or how exactly is the TWDB funded?
@TexasWaterDevelopmentBoard
@TexasWaterDevelopmentBoard 4 месяца назад
The TWDB is funded through a combination of state and federal sources, including appropriations from the Texas legislature. For more information about the agency, please check out our website at www.twdb.texas.gov/about/. Thanks for your interest!

yeh and it cost 40 million and the property owners ( fools ) agreed to pay for it. just so they could have lake front properties and keep their property values . I think the River Authority should have paid for it but since the property owners paid for it, then I think they should partake in the money that the river authority makes off of selling water. etc. That bunch are crooks and they allowed this to happen instead of instituting repairs when they were needed. they ignored it. and then they refused to do anything about it. that organization was created during the 1930's and all it is , is another layer of governmental waste

Do you measure for PFAS chemicals in your product also known as forever chemicals? Biosolids are well know to make land toxic and unusable because of PFAS.

What is the cross section area of confined and unconfined aquifer??
@GrahamDLovell
@GrahamDLovell Год назад
Water that has accumulated over millions of years in a single generation by overuse. The Tonga Volcano eruption has given us a change to replenish denuded aquifers - perhaps up to 10 years. This gives a good chance to both renew the aquifers and to better plan its use into the future.

Yes, water is vital. In the states we take it for granted. So much goes into treatment and distribution of water. I can see issues in the forecast...good job 👍
