Every once in a while I do this thing where I open up my folder with old wow screenshots. As I remember all the events and people I used to play with for hours on end a feeling of sadness grips my heart. All those moments, wipes, battles, jokes and relationships lost in time
Thank you for this video! I really loved your Online Friendships: An Eulogy video and this hits nicely as well. Keep rolling on, because even if you are a lonely rolling star sometimes, you will find your way. P.S.: I really love Katamari & FFXIV as well haha, glad to see even more appreciation for both! ❤
Wonderful video! I was chilling in the hotsprings of Seliana's gathering hub when I got curioud if anyone else appreciates the Monster Hunter hub areas the same way I do, and this video happened to come out just one month ago haha. Keep making great content please! ❤
You can actually make contact with the winter lanterns. No joke. Put un your best frenzy res gear and try. You won't be able to survive long enough to change arms but something will still happen.
wow... I just stumbled on the video and it tells so much in less than 8:00, I guess it the case for a lot of people here but I played a lot of online video games, especially a lot of MMORPG which as said is one of the type of game where you can link event and some time you spent with some ppl in some place of the game very easily. I met a lot of different people (some of them were really strange ngl) that I used to know for various duration. But yeah sometimes that feeling of "what this person doing RN , I wonder if i'll see them again ?" is kinda strange... well the videos spoke a lots and its kinda just a long way to say it X) Thanks for making it ^^ its a cool video ! (even if I feel a bit sad/nostalgic now still )
Honestly the biggest missed opportunity when it comes to soulsborne bosses is not being able to calm down orphan of kos Think about it, if a naked man with no weapons walks up to orphan of kos and sits down or something, why would he attack?
I just fought orphan of kos like 2 hours ago and i beated it 4 attempts in ng++ cause i got the dlc later, ludwig took me 12 attempts somehow btw if you see this how many attempts did it take you for ludwig the accursed, anyone can answer im curious, can you also name the amount of attempts for orphan of kos
Loc Lac holds a special place in my heart because it sold the idea of "online multiplayer". Offline gameplay was a quaint little fishing town that needed your help. Online gameplay was a huge city with massive gates bustling with activity (especially in the chat, which may as well have been a general chat). Then the actual city had housing for hunters, with better housing granted to higher ranked hunters, as if an incentive to keep promising hunters around.
Scene 1 You venture on the Desert hunting big ass Plesioth Giaprey that followed you from the distance paralyzed you followed by Plesioth's repeated hipchecks stunning you After a long 48 munites of chasing Plesioth....it slept... Not wasting this opportunity, you planted your shock trap and finally tranq balls Scene 2 At long last you get to go back to Pokke village and so you immediately headed straight to the Blacksmith... checking out what stuff you could do with the fresh materials you just obtained and then talk to Quest grandma by the rock and see what next quest you unlocked... While listening to Pokke's lovely tune Alas, you're home **u earned my sub the vid is lovely**
Algorithm sent me this video. Was surprised when I felt the quality of the video and saw this wasn't a 50k+ sub channel. Great work brother 💜Stay on it
The Epitome of background in games for me is Chrono Cross... Is just something else. I never forget about those places, and whenever i want to think in the most peaceful place in the wolrd, Crono Cross always, instantly, come to my mind. MH villages gives me a similar feelling, that is one of the things that MH 3 catch my attention back on Wii.
Been watching alot of katamari videos recently, but hearing your perspective on the significance of feeling small felt so new and refreshing. Thank you for making an awesome video :D
I think there's a pretty clever design rationale here: how better to make your battles feel epic and heart-pumping, than to make the moments between the hunts peaceful to the point of serenity, and charming to the point of endearment? It's a great design, but it's delightfully ironic that often it ends up fueling the inverse!
