This movie was so much fun! The narrative was definitely thin but I thought the way they weaved in the easter eggs, game, and level recreations worked really well. Also the voice casting killed it across the board. Not a great movie but a super enjoyable Mario movie.
I binged watched Firefly over a year ago, and I thought it was the worst space western ever. I mean they immediately throw the plot under the bus and only seem to go back to it occasionally in its 14 episodes. When watching the movie, I was scratching my head wondering why wasn't this the first season. So imho, Firefly sucks.
@@TowerBabbleCast Imho, Firefly didn't really do anything new with the space western, aside from what I see as a failed attempt at blending western scenery with sci-fi conventions. I mean we practically saw that in animes such as Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star and Galaxy Express 999.
Merchandisable star wars product?? You mean all the crap characters and designs your storygroup created, which are sitting on shelves, which nobody cares for or wants, which are now dumped off at 5cents each?? Get out of lucasfilm you talentless hack. How did you get past the interview Pablo.. Oh yes.. Prejudicial Political views with zero star wars knowledge...thts the Kennedy way.. Destroy star wars. Get out and let true artist in. U waste of space.
I see the fun in discussing a series as each episode comes out, and I would've probably done that if I had started back when the show first came out. It's something I really enjoy doing with GoT. Not doing that for this show and watching it the way I did wasn't something I'd normally do, but it ended up giving me quite a nice surprise at the end there!
Valid points. But as a gamer who grew up with Nintendo its disheartening to watch them concentrate on an audience that I'm no longer apart of. Unfortunately for them they cant buy me back with all that money in the bank until they spend it on experiences I care about. I still love Mario, Samus, Link and Kirby but its been awhile since I've wanted to play one of their games.
