What if the arthritic hip is so stiff and frozen in an awkward position that it cannot possibly be put through any range of motion much less the eventual optimal position the patient would like to get back to a few years after surgery. How then can this system be of benefit? It seems the pre planning can only be based on the limited motion of the arthritic hip, not on how it moved say 20 years earlier which is what we would like to get back to. Thank you
