Hi! I love this video. It’s very informative!! This is a long shot but hopefully you or someone can answer this. My grandparents had a boat there in the 70’s and 80’s. They’ve passed away and so has my mom. My uncle is still alive but doesn’t remember. I’m going to visit in October 2024 and going to look for at least the area the boat was docked in. I remember quite a few things but no street names. Do you have a video I can look at with just where the boats are? I’m hoping it hasn’t changed too much that I won’t recognize it. I think I'd check around Mindanao Way! There's a lot of docks around that area, but I think heading in that direction will help you out and you'll see all the docks and everything. One huge pro tip (because that's a long street) is to head to the Trader Joe's on 4675 Admiralty Way - it's right next to the docks area
If you stay for a full month, guests need to buy their own shampoo, soap, laundry detergent because they got a discount for staying the month. Some guests use up everything and the host has to buy EVERYTHING all over again. If you get a discount, don’t use up the things that are for short-term guests.
Not for me, sorry I couldn’t watch this all the way through. Im a big LP fan, devastated when Chester killed himself. Every year on the anniversary of his death I only play LP tracks. He was great live, I loved him! best band I’ve seen and I’ve seen quite a few and still the most played group in my house each year on Spotify between me and my son. But for me LP died with Chester. When I heard Emily sing some of his vocal tracks, I got quite upset, it was so bad, so I decided to step back from this version , there are only 3 of the original line up playing live- not much of LP left and losing a main vocalist is a big hit to any band. Emily is no Chester however hard she is trying to be. Do I will only listen to and stick to the Chester LP only. I personally feel they made a mistake even attempting this, after all this time why bother? No one expected it so there wasn’t any pressure really, many of the original fans are finding it hard to accept, I think they should have made a new band with Emily fronting if she would still have been the choice. but feel she shouldn’t sing the old stuff, stick to stuff written with her vocal range in mind and they may do okay, especially with a fresher audience, I’d even give a new band a try, but the more I hear her attempts singing songs I loved and still do, the more I just can’t get with it. I’m unsure Chester would approve as they say he would due to the Scientology Danny Masterton thing she supported. Chester suffered abuse in his younger years and this affected him his whole life so I cannot see that he would support their choice in Emily. We all have a choice if we follow or not, I’ve chosen not too, but wish them luck.
Have you read his book Happy? Is this in a similar style to that or more like his earlier stuff? I love both Pure Effect and Absolute Magic, but hated Happy. This is why I've been on the fence about picking this one up.

To get the best results you gotta flip it over and put it on the other side of your hand. I do 50 reps on one side of my hand then another 50 on the other side.

I don’t like the promoter way. The only reason they have it is because they know you’ll spend more money. Think about it: you pregame and then wait 1-2hrs depending on the artist / occasion. That’s minus 1 to 2 drinks right there. If the promoter tells you to arrive especially early then that’s less of a wait but you’ll show up for a support you probably don’t care for, another minus 1-2 drinks there. By the time the main act starts you’re well beyond your peak and feeling the need to re-up. You lose your spot on the dance floor and are now spending what you could’ve spent on a ticket getting drinks.
that's the biggest downside to using promoters in my opinion. especially like you said, when you factor getting there early and drink prices, it can sometimes be more expensive
I liked anytime fitness cause i could go at 2 am when nobody was there. Only issue i ever had was when i tried ending the membership. They continued it for 3 months even though i had been a member for 3 years

Worst thing you could do when making an Oceanside video is film in Carlsbad, calling it Oceanside. The flower fields are very famous and are the pride, of Carlsbad. There's also so much more to the O than 3 eye catching boutiques downtown. Might wanna research before pressing record.
