I'm starting one right now! I watched the entire tutorial and I think I can do it! I'll let you know how it turns out when I'm finished. Thank you so much posting this!
Question. How would you go about connecting these together? What all do you make with your squares? I'm already starting on another because they're so easy and so pretty! But I'm not sure what to do with them! Lol!
You can attach them together by chain and slip stitches. You can watch the end of the Granny Square Tank Top video and it'll show that method. You can make sooo many things with granny squares: scarves, bags, hats, arm warmers, tops.. if you go on Pinterest, there are tons of patterns. Good luck!
Love this too! 💜 I'm taking knitting lessons right now (it's so much harder than crochet to me! 😜) and my first project was a bag. Thanks to YT I figured out how to line it and even put in a zipper pocket!
Love it!! I do knit but get nervous that I'll drop a stitch. I knit very basic knitting projects. I tried with double pointed needles for a round project. I kept fumbling and dropping stitches. I need to try again and be patient with myself. Good luck on knitting and crocheting!
@@CrochetbyNatalieLucille I did my bag by knitting in the round. I picked a sweater as my 2nd project. I think my teacher wants to strangle me over my choice but thankfully she's very patient! But it's done in the round also. It's going to feel weird working on flat needles again. Lol! Are the double sided ones for socks? I'd love to make those too!
I found it! Those are really cute! Thank you so much for showing the picture first. 💜 I've not done any crocheting that small yet. But really would like to start making earrings. I've always loved funky and unique earrings and making my own would be awesome if I can figure it out! Do you ever do step by step tutorials or just the shorts?
I do step by step. The videos are linked. If you go to my channel, you'll see the videos. The shorts are clips from the full tutorial. Good luck on your crocheting!
I must be blind or don't know what I'm doing. Lol I watched a lot of your "shorts" last night but didn't see any step by step ones. I'll check it out again. Thank you!
I hold the hook two ways. I have carpel tunnel, so if I hold the hook like a pencil, my fingers go numb. If I hold it flat, I can crochet longer. I also use a wrist brace. I'm not sure the right or wrong way to hold a hook! I crochet the most comfortable way for me. How do you hold a hook?
For my video today, I took your advice on showing a picture first of the finished product. Check it out. Let me know what you think. Again, thank you for constructive feedback. Much appreciated!
i LOVE this yarn... I just got 8 skeins of Sage but I feel like its a misprint when they say a #6 weight because its more like a #5 i think.... its amazing yarn though and when its on sale it is SO WORTH it... What size Crochet hook worked best for you with this yarn? I am making a blanket and I feel like 9mm is just too big...
I absolutely love this yarn. I tend to crochet loosely so I normally go down in a crochet hook size. I have made several items using 5.00 and 5.50 mm hooks. It ended up with a nice (even) look. I was quite pleased. I think 9.00 may be too large. You can try going down a little and gauge it. I hope it works for you!
@@CrochetbyNatalieLucille thank you for the response! ! I will have to try a 5mm, the label on the yarn suggests a 9mm and its definitely way too big at least with what I am trying to achieve. the yarn itself is just amazing, looking forward to making a blanket in every color! thank you so much for the tip on the hook size!
There is a possibility the sole can tear. During the initial poking through, take it slow and be careful. I think if you have a strong enough needle or crochet hook, you could use any kind of flip flop.
@@CrochetbyNatalieLucille I dont know how to make the increases?? , I started by adding another stitch every 2nd row,, but it started looking like Bobbles???
So I am using a 0.5mm hook and embroidery floss that I split the skein in half (so 3 strands instead of 6, but I've done that too with a 0.6mmm hook). I have also used sewing thread to crochet some things and would really like to know if there are any brands that have a more durable equivilent of these or if I just need to stick to them.
Great question. I don't know of other brands off the top of my head. You can Google some or go to a hobby store and see the various types. It's not always easy to crochet with floss/thread, so another avenue is search for customer reviews. See whst other people are using. I hope this helps
Hello! I tend to crochet loosely. When a project calls for a certain hook size, most of the time, I go down one hook size. Recently, I've made a few items using this yarn, and I crocheted using either a G or H hook. I hope this helps.
I have smallest size thread like the yellow pink n violet in ur video (small 4 balls)so what size needle should i use for it and can it be used for crocheting hair accessories
You can use small hooks like a B or C. I also use a 1.7MM hook. If you want to go smaller, it may be wise to get a magnifying glass! After a while, it can strain your eyes. Hope this helps.
i dunno if you've tried this but maybe go back to your order where you got good yarn and check out the seller's page and see if they have any other types of yarn that you might need/want. that way it MIGHT be more consistent in quality

The edging is worked evenly down the side. The edging is only a slip stitch and chain all the way across the row. I hope this helps. Check out my channel, I recently uploaded a tutorial for the hat.
