Tom Jackobs, helps solo practitioners and solopreneurs create impact by helping convert leads into paying clients. I do that by helping them turn boring Presentation into Performances, so they can make more Profits. It all starts and ends with BETTER SALES TACTICS, especially if you are generating leads by doing online webinar or in person stage presentations.
If you want to get better at sales, public speaking and running your business then this is the channel for you. As a solo practitioner it can be hard to do everything... and do it well. I will help break it all down for you into byte (see what I did there) size pieces.
I post every Tuesday at 12 Noon Eastern.
I give you tips, tricks and strategies to make sure you are growing your business, converting leads you get, and standing out from your competition using the power of your personal story. That's where Presentation, Performance and Profits comes from.
Does this approach also work when writing material intended for social media? I’m interested in moving from writing about my own experiences as a consultant, to the experiences the clients had being on the other side.
One of the best practice tips I remember is to hold your phone up to your ear (or pretend to) and act as though you are talking to someone on it while reading a script!
I first became aware of my pain body in 2007 while working in Finance, and it marked the beginning of my awakening. Thank you, Eckhart Tolle! For years, I ignored the messages my heart, body, and mind were sending me, and this neglect manifested in various ways. The ultimate wake-up call came with my cancer diagnosis in 2008. This profound experience forced me to confront my pain and start taking better care of myself-heart, mind, and ego. Today, I am grateful for the journey and the lessons it has taught me about mental, physical, and spiritual healing. Thank you both for this podcast.
Super script tips (say that 10x fast) - I REALLY appreciate it! :) Expressing with exaggeration sounds like a wonderful idea, but I would argue that 'stretching' seems like a misnomer. Instead, let’s pandiculate our speech!
I love how he describes what a heart led business is. When you do something out of your passion and enjoy doing. You dont really see it as a job and dont feel like your working everyday. I love it
One of the best tips I've herd from Sir Michael Caine: Speak the script, not as if you were reading it, but as if you were in a conversation with your best friend.
Madison is an integral part of our work here and this shows why. Her knowledge combined with her obvious passion for helping people discover their path toward health. Our clients often refer to her as "magical" , she truly is!
Tom, thank you so much for the opportunity to connect with your audience and share my story. Wishing you continued success with this podcast and I look forward to meeting you when you come to Los Angeles!
Interesting statement. I wouldn’t say profit is evil, it’s necessary to stay in business and to reinvest back into the business to help more people. Not only that, you can do lots of good with donating to good causes you care about with profit. It’s all in how you use profit. Not profit itself.
This. Exactly this. Short sighted bilk-what-you-can sales strategies drive me crazy. I’ve left so many outfits because of it. You hit the nail on the head. Particularly in this day and age prospects are more savvy and sophisticated and they know when they’re being fed a line. If you want to build an enduring client base, to close good sales, and to be able to sleep at night, this is the way to do it. Anything other than what you call heart-centred-selling is stepping over dollars to pick up cents. Thank you for this. I’ll be circulating it to my associates. 💛
Glad this resonated with you! If you'd like more on this, check out my new book, Selling With H.E.A.R.T. available on Amazon... and my new podcast, The Heart-Led Business Show.
If you need ongoing sales coaching, maybe Sales Power Hour, hosted by me would be a good option for you. Check out the details here: go.tomjackobs.com/sales-power-hour
"I've gotta be me, Whether I'm right or whether I'm wrong Whether I find a place in this world or never belong I gotta be me, I've gotta be me What else can I be but what I am"?
I hope this works I work from home, for a company where I have to read scripts… but they are really legal disclosures.. I had said it so much now … I mumble, stutter the script and 😅 it’s embarrassing. It gives me anxiety 😥 but I’m praying and very helpful minded. 😊. Crossing my fingers it works. 🙏🏾 thx for the video.
It's wild. But you've changed my thinking from selling my thing to these customers. Now I take In consideration the customers problems and give the customers a clear solution. The customers are asking me how to buy it. Thanks tom. You're Great.
When I try to add crm to activecampaign marketing it only gives me the option to have at least 5 users for $92 per month. Am I missing something? I can sync to a Pipedrive crm account that only costs $15 per month.
Depends on what you're wanting to use it for, I actually have a sales driven CRM now called Lead Maximizer Pro, and it runs on the HighLevel platform plus I've put some custom automations in to help with sales. Check it out at www.LeadMaximizerPro.com, it's just $197/month with unlimited users, and can do the job of ActiveCampaigin, Calendly, Pipedrive, and a dozen other applications, all in one.
