Literally in my lifetime have never seen a horse enter a ring with the presence, cadence and trot of this stunning gelding. Michelle did always say he was tough to ride and I believe it!! Mitch did a fantastic job, he was jittery on the reverse but came back strong!! Ive never seen the videos of Michelle riding him, only short clips.
I used to show these marvelous creatures. As a youth. We certainly never crashed and banged horribly on their kidneys. Always posted the trot. That man #180 is an abomination. No wonder those poor things develop lordosis, and are so often vilified.

Congrats....what a cool experience. I grew up working on a hackney farm in Central Illinois.....always wanted to sit in that seat but never got the chance. Thanks so much for sharing!
