What a wonderful tribute to a fabulous aviator, saw many of his displays, and spoke to him on a couple of occasions,always had time for everyone. R.I.P Young Fella !
Many people question whether flying these ancient airframes is prudent considering the risk. I know in my heart that if Squadron Leader Long could speak today, he would respond with "an unequivocal yes." Thank you Mark, per adua ad astra.
@@robh4671 I wouldn't say "most", and unless they are specifically labeled as replica aircraft there is as much original material as possible. But only if the original parts are thoroughly inspected and proven trustworthy. A lot of folks however have little faith in the restorer's expertise and there is a wide call to stop flying them.
So so so sad reminds me of gentleman and aviator Pilot Glen Warden here in south africa that to succumbed to his death after his accident😢 broken hearted for the families. 🙏🙏
In Vietnam, we lost 8 of 18 aircraft. 10 men. First one dies, you die too. But there will be others. You can count on it. You got to let him go..you got to let him go..
Many people don’t know that we lost 60,000 Americans in the Vietnam war. The gulf of Tonkin incident never happened. It was all Lyndon Johnson’s fault. Thanks for this upload.
