Hi! I'm Katherine with Less is Best and I'm so glad you are here!
In my videos, I talk about how having less and spending less helps us live our best lives, and wow, that is SO TRUE! I share how I shop at thrift stores, Dollar Tree, Target, and Walmart and find really good quality and useful items. I also share motivational cleaning and organizing videos using inexpensive, but good quality, bins and cleaning supplies.

I would love to hear from you so we can share cleaning, organizing, and money saving tips!
Awesome video, thank you! I’ve been teaching for 32 years and I love to organize. I feel the same way about the Container Store, but I am going to buy that caddy! I ditched my teacher desk 5 years ago and use a horseshoe table now, because it’s easier to help kids throughout the day. The challenge is keeping that table cleared for kids!
Nice organization! Did you say during inside recess they just like to be on the computer? That's unfortunate, I would just force them to not use them lol. What a strange world we live in now.
I do applaud you for taking the challenge of cleaning tour automobile, while not the products i would recommend i would suggest using some dawn dish soap with the white magic eraser to clean the seats, it will work wonders with little effort… I need to show this to my wife as she will never clean her suv, as im very particular on the looks of our daily drivers and there is never a reason to take a vehicle to a car wash, they use recycled water and those brushes will wreck the paint surface
Personal laminator hint: You might use it more at home. I've had mine for 20+ years. I don't use it much, but when I do, it's usually for smaller pieces that I cut out while watching television. In general, I've found two main uses for mine. 1) cards/pieces that will be handled a lot - the laminate on personal laminators is usually thicker that the stuff on the big school ones, 2) resealing old laminate - because my personal laminator just heats and presses, I can run pealing items back through without adding more laminate
Thanks so much for watching! At the time of this video, we were still in Covid distance rules, so only 2 kids could sit at the back table and be six feet apart. Towards the end of the school year, I was able to have 5 sit comfortably! The table is actually pretty big in real life (maybe it appears smaller in the video 😂). Thanks again for watching!
That sounds about right! Just a regular size kidney table ☺️. I used to have a smaller circle table and the kidney table is so much better! Thanks for watching!
Just did my new Honda civic. Went to get these small cleaners to keep in the door. I'm getting bins to keep my groceries from sliding around my trunk. Still looking for a trash can-want black. Oh,Just got gap fillers that hold a drink and your phone and love them!
Best b dates do not mean expired. Especially powdered or dry goods, they may lose a little potency but they put those dates on so you will buy more. I never pay attention to best by dates, I do the smell test and if it smells funky then it goes.
I never would’ve taken the tools out of an actual toolbox. The box that the tools came in secured the tools & kept them from getting damaged plus there were markings that told you the sizes of the tools which are helpful to find what you are looking for. I also wouldn’t have put the labels of what was inside the clear bins over the bin label but on the opposite side or clear side, just in case you wanted to know what size bin you used. It would be easy to turn it around for reference in case you needed to purchase more for another area of your home. For multiple bins in the same category, Christmas decorations for example, I label the bin Christmas decorations but on the lid I attach one of those sheets you can slide a piece of paper into. I put an inventory list of everything in the bin for example - red/white tree decorations, ribbon, tree skirt, extension cord, tree topper. If I add or remove something, I can edit the list. It makes it easy to see what I have or need for the season.
I am in love with that closet too lols! omg! I also have the this thing about paper bags, I use to have loads of it! but now I just keep just enough because I use it to keep things to donate, or to put home made food in containers to give to friends and family instead of using plastic bags. Thanks Katherine for the motivation, I know I have my own scary closet to tackle this weekend! take care and cheers xo
Thank you so much!!!! 🥰🥰🥰 And that’s such a good idea to use the bags for things you’re donating!!! Thank you so much for watching and happy organizing!!! 💕💕💕
Since you only get to them once per year, I would move the seasonal stuff to the top shelf on the wire shelves near the house door. Save the prime shelf real estate on the rolling rack for more frequently used items.
I mostly just wear the fruit of the loom or Hanes Crew socks at Walmart. I was getting white for every day and black for work. Now retired doesn’t matter the color. I don’t have to worry about pairing them up, just either white or black.
