hello! My name's Effi and I'm a music industry creative director and visual artist.
I'm using this channel to share tips and tricks for music artists on building a brand authentically, making the most out of social media marketing and taking on the creative stuff like music videos, photo shoots and fashion styling.
I encourage you to think WAY outside the box and help you to create a completely unique and authentic world online (and off) that allows you to connect with your current fans on a deeper level, attract new ones and build your own culture, plus giving you the best chance for longevity and enjoyment throughout your music career.

Do you have any examples of a brand guide for musicians? i think since each album would depend on the various factors (like vibe of songs, artists views and preference at the time etc) it would be constatnly evolving with each album. im having a hard time narrowing down fonts and colors as i feel that I would be forcing the artist to not explore different styles in future albums.
Hey, thanks for sharing your insights with visual branding, it's something that's really helpful to hear in words for people like me who are already working on a concept band. I'd love to see a video at some point like you had mentioned, on getting all of the possible resources down that would be needed for a campaign
really fantastic video. most stuff on youtube on this topic is overly vague or revolves around platitudes ("be yourself! show your audience who you are!" etc) but this is super practicable, actionable, and helpful. hoping your channel blows up this year!
Hello! I just found this video while researching on this topic. I'm new on my path to becoming a creative director in the music industry. I graduated from graphic design school in 2016 but don't have much corporate experience and have been working a lot freelance/independently. I don't have a bachelor/master either. Is it still possible to tread on this path? Thanks!
This was great!!! I am a very visual musician and also love writing and graphic design so I’ve been feeling high realizing how I can weave a world with and around my music. All thanks to you! Love your style btw.
As a young woman it’s so helpful hearing your thought processes behind everything. I’m considering taking on a creative director role, with a more traditional business marketing + branding background so this really helps!!
Thank you so much. It's so obvious the best contents here ain't the most popular You are doing great! It's helping me in a music artist branding project am currently executing. I would love to share its results when completed Am sure you would love to see it then.
Would you say the graphic designers get to make the decisions on how the album covers will look, or the CD decides that, the graphic designer just has the layout and software knowledge to create the CD's idea?
I've also been so confused when artists hire creative directors on a temporary basis. I always thought they are meant to hone your branding and if you hire different ones surely the branding isn't consistent? What do you think?
new vid is up now with more info but no music dropping until friday so not tons to share rn. starting from scratch so innit for the long haul with this one, chum 😅

I hate social media because I hate the feelings I get from posting. All the needieness that goes with the waiting and checking and and replying. I hate all of that. Also, given that I don't enjoy about 99% of what I see on social media, its hard to jazz myself up to post something because I usually wouldn't want to see the sort of thing I'm posting anyway...
I like that you started with mindset. I've been telling myself for years that I hate social media, which has only made me exhausted and left me with piss poor results. This vid is giving me hope today, so thank you!
RU-vid has been recommending your videos to me a lot lately and I've watched a bunch of them. I had no idea your view counts were so low. Your videos are great and inspiring, please know there are real people and artists watching them!
