I am not sure if you are active on here any more, but I wanted to write this message to you. I wanted to thank you for this review as it was the spark that lead to me discovering EDS and eventually getting my diagnosis. In 2014 I had started working in a horse barn and my ulna kept subluxing while shoveling out the stalls (I REALLY should not have worked that job, but I had no clue the extent of my issues or how bad they would eventually get. I was just trying to 'buck up' and work through it). I was looking for a minimalistic brace to help keep my ulna in place. I found the wrist widget and ended up finding this video (wrist widget worked fantastically btw). I had no clue what EDS was and looked it up after seeing this video. I was floored. It was eerily similar to all of my issues. I had already be diagnosed with a few EDS comorbidities and always thought that there had to be a connection between my multiple issues. I had also recently realized that it was not normal to be constantly subluxing and dislocating your joints when I moved away to college and lived with roommates (I thought it was normal because my mom always was popping stuff out too... now I know why). I was just absolutely stunned that I had found something that explained everything. It took me many years (like many of us), but I was finally able to find a team of doctors (starting with my POTS specialist) that were EDS knowledgeable and were able to forward me on to EDS specialists. I was finally diagnosed in 2020, and now have a fantastic team of doctors who are helping me get my life back. So thank you. Had I never found your video, who knows if I would have ever figured out anything. You are part of the reason I am now starting to get my life back. Thank you!
