Love Yungblud. He's so chaotic in the best way possible. You should definitely check out more of his stuff. I'm 52, and I like his music. My kid introduced me to his music. I can still relate to a lot of his stuff. Feelings are universal.
Dang bummer I missed this! The Gorge show was one of my favorites of the tour, hope to get there one day. Like Scott said you really have to set aside some time to get there, I believe it’s at least 2 hours from anything and camping is encouraged
@@secondhandreactions 100%! The main thing holding me back is I have zero camping equipment and wouldn’t know how to get it to Washington safely to use it lol
Jimmy barnes is phenomenal either singing by himself (solo) or with his band cold chisel ❤ I know you like Tim minchin him singing “you’ve gotta play it safe” which is a song for the Sydney opera house 50th bday is great as Jimmy Barnes is in the video as well as many other entertainers
I saw these dudes live loads of times in the 80's and 90's.. killer live band and funny as... We had a really good live music scene in Australia. Our bands sweated so much on hot lights during those hot summer nights that they were never able to be ''hair metal''... hair spray was useless in that environment
Remember everyone cringing at Elaine dancing on Seinfeld? That is me now! Please sit down!😮 Jimmy and Joe are the focus, not you. Thumbs up for the music, thumbs down for the attention seeking.
My understanding of their album output is that they have three or four albums on the go at one time over several years. So when they put out an album, it seems like they produce one in in a short time when in fact they have been working on it for sometime…
Jimmy has been singing since he was a teenager so now has over 50 years of material out there. He is the lead singer of a band formed in 1973 called Cold Chisel. They actually have another great guitarist in Ian Moss, who co sings with Jimmy. Ian is the smooth jazz singer and Jimmy provides the soul and rock, but as for their genre, well they can do it all. The first self titled album came out in 1978. They perfected live gigs at pubs and clubs to become one of Australia’s most loved bands. The main lyricist, Don Walker (who incidentally wrote this song) completed his degree in Physics. He is the band’s piano player. I don’t go past listening to them every day.
You and Scott would love “whatever happened to the million head collied” by pond. Would be a good lyric check and you might like the song more than eye pattern blindness
I think it's fair to say you both enjoyed that, but Joe B "a blues guitarist"!! How about Joe B. the best living rock/blues guitarist in the world? Check out any of his live performances.
Written by Jimmy's Cold Chisel bandmate, Don Walker. I believe that's Jimmy's son on drums and his daughter is off camera singing backing vocals. Unsurprisingly, Jimmy's whole family are musical. Some trivia.
@@secondhandreactions You should check out Jimmy singing with his son David Campbell at Carols by Candlelight in Melbourne "You'll Never Walk Alone". Brilliant.
Probably at work right now. We have to work around some scheduling issues the next week or so. Gonna be tough for us to get together and record. We’re gonna try though.
First, they’re an anonymous band. They wear masks which you’ve probably seen already. They’re from the UK. But yes, the music IS a lot like Tool, Deftones etc. Sleep Token is very atmospheric metal. Feels like you’re flying in euphoria. They do have a couple music videos, but the music is so good, they did this new album the correct way. PAY ATTENTION to the music and the vocals are phenomenal. Welcome! WORSHIP!
(Screech is 14) the police officer is 6ft3 making screech likely to be much shorter (ren actually looks up when he says it as if he were screech). In jennys tale screech is said to be 14. The song also came 2019 and violet gave birth in 2005
This is what music is all about. Joes amazing guitar skills combined with Jimmy’s soulful voice. You gotta check out a young Jimmy Barnes covering “ a change is Gonna come” live in 1984
I can tell you guys have a great bond. Im lucky enough to still be friends with people I went to kindergarten with and I’m 21 now. Hope I can grow “old”and laugh my ass off with them like you guys are
Gorgeous - made my morning this thanks Clay and Sue love the happy dance (Sam just has it....such a great artist, happy to be seeing him for the 2nd time in November).
Love seeing anyone absorbing this performance of this arrangement of this song! Both of them are top-tier, just two outrageously talented mates enjoying each other's parts on this particular day. Just *so* good. :)
The fact that someone can sit there and so smuggly say "wasn't for me, didn't like the way it sounded." Makes me seriously not give a damn about their opinion of music. Clearly didn't even listen to the song. Can't say the bands name correctly or the word sanguine correctly. Why would I bother with this channel. Avett Brothers write beautiful songs for people that actually care about music and have feelings.
I’m allowed to not like something. Doesn’t mean I have bad taste or no taste in music. It’s just different than yours. I never heard of this band until this song. It actually taught me what the word sanguine means. That’s cool. You seem mad about something else. That’s a whole paragraph of aggression you wrote. Surely a reaction channel can’t upset someone that much. Hope you get the help you need! Good luck. ✌️
Love this band. Good musicians...they dabble with jazz & eastern sounds. Hope you check some of their other songs...all good fun. Couple of fun videos too. One of my fave songs of theirs..."Mother sky" Awesome background vocal harmonies...and rocking song.
