Oh bless, you will be greatly missed Dame Maggie. There will never be anyone to compare to your talents, if you were in one choice of what to watch, it was always you. Good Bless 🙏
I had a crush on him as a child and I didn't like her probably out of jealousy. Today I know Christ and whoever leaves his family in financial problems to hang out with a female really needs a Saviour. She reminds me of Chris Watts' killed wife. Desperately trying... This world is insane.
Legend!! My friends and I would never miss an episode of Kelly's show. He was so funny and His brand of comedy was so refreshing. Thanks for all the laughs Kelly. RIP.
Who is the standup comedian who used to do his whole act as a noir detective transported to the modern day? Two of his catchphrases and bits were "...I moved on." and using several noir type idioms in a row to describe the same thing.
Matthew is such a wonderful actor and a genuinely modest and nice person. Everything I've seen him in so far just reinforces my admiration. I know that Matthew quit smoking in his early thirties but many of his roles required him to smokie cigarettes or cigars. I just wonder if that gum he's chewing is nicotine gum. Just asking because I quit smoking almost 7 years ago and I still get cravings for a cigarette and I chew nicotine gum to help.
we saw him on tour when he came to our town back in the 80s in the uk. i never laugh so much very very talent man. where ever he is thank you mr monteith for all the joy you gave us. i only found out he pass yesterday when i found this. it must of be very hard for him at the end. but look what he left us to watch his wonderfully work. bless kelly moniteith and his family and friends. you are miss sir

He was my friend for over 50 years. We shared so many moments together having lunch, dinner or just plain hanging out. We started out in comedy around the same time and became friends almost the moment we met. I loved his style and his approach to stand up but most of all I loved his friendship. When we worked the same cities we would always seek each other out after the shows and when we came back to LA we also got together as much as possible. In 1975 there was a club in Santa Monica, Ca that Kelly was a regular at and I wanted to work there and Kelly convinced the owner to give me a chance. I worked there off and on for a few years and loved the place. A couple of years later I was the first American comedian to do a talk show in London called the Des O'Connor show and I recommended Kelly to Des and the producers. Kelly went over there and did so well he ended up getting a series on the BBC for 5 years. I think of him often and the fun times we had. Miss you my long time friend. Rest in Peace.
