The German soldiers were so stupid that they couldn't tell the difference between Germans and Americans based on their accents. Moreover, Lieutenant Garrison was a typical American, and the Germans couldn't tell either.
This show inspired the Action Man games I had with my schoolmate. I even had one figure assume some of the attributes of Actor - using a mix of orange & white Plasticine to give him masks!
I loved this show when i was a young boy. I couldn't wait for it to come on T.V. They even would sell the playing cards in a pack at the Ben Franklin (remember that place ?). One of the best programs on T.V. To bad it didn't get at least a couple more seasons. 👍👍
This was "truly" one of the best shows on T.V. When i was a very young boy, i couldn't wait to watch it. That's amazing that the movie "Expendables" idea came from this. Even this program title is "expendables". Wow ! Those were the days. 😊😊
This episode showing Actor giving German lessons to that mobster is interesting! It's like trying to coach Arnold Schwarzenegger to speak English without a German accent !😊 In all of the 26 episodes , this is probably the most harebrained scheme of all !😅
Julie Harris is too pretty to be playing a nun. In real life, pretty girls are not allowed to become nuns. It would have a distracting effect on the priests.
When Garrison's Gorillas were hidden in that basement, did they have any sanitary arrangements? Where did they bathe or wash up, how did they answer the calls of nature ? It seems that their German host had a smelly problem on his hands.
Oh, yeah. Three enemy aliens who couldn't speak a word of German caught heisting a museum during wartime. And the local authorities just toss them into the town clink. Ho-huum. Just another night's work.
