What a unique shrimp and egg meal! Looks so good. I am surprised you don't have a drain board or something like that for when you do dishes. Maybe I just cook a lot larger meals (and I have a tiny kitchen, way smaller than most all people I know), but having a drain board is so useful to me while maybe not for you. That's the cool thing about minimalism. It does my heart good to see how neat and clean your home is. Ugh, I also don't like my kids playing video games, but my husband has always been SO into them and wanted to connect with our boys with them, so they all play them :: sigh :: When they were Viggo's age, I set a low time limit and also had a couple days a week where they were not in front of screens at all. There are actual benefits to playing video games, believe it or not. The violent ones don't really have benefits other than improved reaction time though.
Hallo, just found your channel , you have a beautiful home ( and environment) and I like your way of cooking and keeping things easy, I like that , too. When it is about children I think, they need some „ stuff“ and should not be forced in extreme Minimalism. And I would think about showing your kid in the Internet. This year, my local weather has changed dramatically. Now I get amazing heavy bursts of rainstorms that slash rain against a different side of the house than before! It is where I have old double doors and they leak! I have to put lots of towels. The rain is fairly brief but so strong it now actually rings my door bell! I have always loved rain but now have a problem to solve to not have a disaster if it storms while I’m sleeping or away!

Where I live, we wear a lot of bright colours and a lot of pattern in summers. And I am a minimalist. So over the years I have decluttered a lot. Yet, I find myself with a couple of pieces that are a bit too bright with a lot of pattern. And I still can't get rid of them because some say they look good on me. But I don't feel very good in them. so the conflict is, whether I keep them because they look very good on me or i get rid of them because they don't really make me feel good. (fabric is good, colour is good, cut isn't my preference). Also i want to reduce the number of clothes I have and switch to less clothes that are solid and colours that all go well with each other. But this stage of decluttering is tough because of the above mentioned pieces. :(
If it’s only 1 piece or 2, then I think it’s worth to keep till the day you decide 💯 that it needs to go. There’s nothing wrong to keep things you aren’t sure keeping or letting go. Thank you for writing here, have a nice week ahead 😊🍂🍁

Loved how you made apple sauce. I have heard of apple cake only recently as it is not a thing here in the states really (at least not in my area). It looks very tasty. Unfortunately, I am allergic to apples, but I wish I could eat it all!!

It is good to get rid of what you do not wear at all. I am proud of you in deciding what to let go of. I am like you, ruthless of weeding things out regularly. It is great when you find things that you wear constantly like your two skirts. Earthy tones are really great. I am someone who loves wearing color which is rare for minimalists, it seems, but it is how I've always been and I've been a minimalist eighteen years now. Crazy! It was interesting to me how much white you decluttered out, as if that just isn't a tone you like to wear as dresses!
