Gary does Van Halen songs better than he does Extreme songs. Haven't gotten a chance to see them yet, but Extreme is still massively underrated as a band. So many of those songs are fantastic for reasons relating to every member.

At the Testament Seattle show, there was a guy in a wheelchair and he crowd surfed to the stage barrier, not once, not twice, but three times! And he was in the pit! Insane!!! ♿️

Extreme delivered on this!!! I've said it before and I'll say it again - Gary had perhaps the most vocal talent in Van Halen. He was fantastic. Van Halen III was poorly produced and his vocals sounded off. But yeah, he delivers here and what else can you say about Nuno. He's fantastic. I'm glad he sees carrying Ed's legacy and influence as a responsibility. That's a big mantle and he was so good on this. I love it.
Fuck me! All 4 are grooving to this. Love it!! I think if Alex put on an Eddie tribute show the way Queen did for Freddie, Extreme would once again steal the show.
If the next Extreme album was all DLR era Van Halen covers, I would buy that in a heartbeat. No questions asked, no reading some review by some rando hater on the internet, I would just buy it, and listen to it . The whole thing, not just the songs that made it to the top 10. Like we used to do in the 70s, 80s and 90s.
