i got a chance to fly a vision jet. they are very easy to fly, very long, endless checklist. fun to fly. the big issue is the operating expenses, like all jets, is obscene, about $600,000 a year or $50,000 a month. a mooney, about 100 knots slower like the TLS bravo, would only coast $30,000 a year to operate. big surcharge to get there 1 hour sooner.
Piloted like a he owned that airport! like a prima donna on the first day of class! Sorta strutted thru the other planes like a damn school yard bully!! lol
I fly the single engine turboprop Pilatus PC-12NG professionally and it was my airplane who made the King Air 90 obsolete and taken out of production. With the ultra reliable PT6 engine, there is no need for two of them.
Excellent footage of this go-around, landing and takeoff. That is one great looking Aerostar. I really love these cool little Piper twins, it's been a long time since I last spotted one.
