I was a teenager when all these beatiful aircraft were appearing in our sky's. I made so many kits of them that filled my room. Went down from Scotland for a holiday in London staying with my brother so I could visit Heathrow and see them all. 1967, the music and fashion was breaking out too ! Best days of my life. I heard of this from a "Shellback".... He said hose hoses were not so kind,, not like the gentle action in front of the camera.... And at the end they got to have their beers, and all were "shellback's"..... ... Question though,,, was this suspended during WW2?

Melhor época do Rio foi nos anos 1950/1960, tempos da Bossa Nova de Tom, Vinicius e outros gigantes, que fizeram musicas que retratavam os encantos da cidade e era admirada no mundo todo e logicamente sem esquecer o Carnaval. Valeu!
Nasci em SP minha familia imigrou para Estados Unidos em 1961 quando tinha 12 anos, hoje tenho 75 e moro em Chicago. Na decada dos 70's viajava para o Rio muitas vezes a ultima vez sendo 1978. Sempre ficava no Othon Palace na Avenida Atlantica em Copa, aquele tempo tudo estava ainda muito bem, ultima visita minha foi em 1998, sera que esta pior hoje? Abracos de Chicago.........
Eran mas decentes las mujeres de esa época no como las de ahora que son unas sinverguenzas con esos pedazos de tela metidos en el orto que además es antihigiénico (tangas), 🤮
