A very indirect way to go from Haymarket to the Queensferry crossing. If you had turned left at the end of Melville St instead of right you would have been straight out onto the A90 Queensferry Street/Road. Don’t know why you took that route through the West End & Stockbridge.

🇨🇦 I lived in Sandiacre 1940 to 1958 The A52 went through Spondon Borowash,Risley,Sandiacre. Staplefod and Bramcote. All bypassed. A52 used to go down to slab square in Nottingham. Un recognizable now.

Enjoyed your video. You could have gone a quicker way if you turned left at Torver (35:00). That road would have brought you to the t-junction (01:03)(A5092) and you would have saved 5-10 minutes on your journey. I know this because some of my extended family live in Coniston and that's the way they go if heading off in that direction. Cheers.
