A rising superstar in the electronic world, TSHA makes music built on bright, melodic house foundations, bringing in UK garage and rave sensibilities, and has been widely tipped by the dance music press - appearing on the covers of Mixmag and DJ Mag - as well as the likes of the Observer, Billboard and Interview mag.
TSHA’s music has earned well over 180 million streams, earning her accolades such as becoming a DC-10 resident, delivering a BBC Essential Mix, nominations for the MOBO’s (Best Dance Act) and Grammys’ (her writing work on Diplo track “Let You Go”.), and a recent collaboration with Ellie Goulding and Gregory Porter. New album 'Sad Girl' taps into her teenage years, with strokes of ‘00s R&B, rude electro and anthemic techno, recalling the bittersweetness and angst of early adulthood - it’s out September 27th on Ninja Tune.
rose is simply gold - everything she touches sounds brilliant. I hope she continues to have success away from all this mainstream diddy crap and remains the wonderfully pure being that she is.
Loved Tsha's first album, but this song borrows too heavily from "Mason- Exceeder". That was a massive tune in its day, especially after Ministry of Sound got hold of it and put that Princess Superstar vocal over the top. This unfortunately sounds like it has ripped the whole main synth line from that tune! :$
This is absolutely fantastic. Best tune I’ve heard in a long long time. Amazing beat and even better vocals. This stopped me in my tracks first time I heard it. Sheer class.
