Love the color of your 301. I have one of those machines that I bought and it came in the cabinet. My machine was born in 1954 which is my birth year. My Featherweight I have is also my birth year.
Oh I love this! I have never made a bag but this looks very manageable and your thorough explanations are wonderful. I can see these as my go to for stocking stuffers, co worker small gifts ideas, and kids too. Even put money inside instead of gift card expenses. This will be on my to do list this weekend for sure. I do have one question though, what stitch length do you recommend so these last a long time? Thank you so very much for this project idea. I think it is fantastic.
You are awesome. Just finished binding my first quilt using this technique. Always did binding by hand. This is so much better. Thank you. Looking forward to more videos
Lovely products, thanks for showing them to us. I really appreciate your feedback. I will be ordering from them soon. Have a blessed day. 😊💖🙏🤟🍀🦓✂️🧵🪡🌹 Liz in California.
Wonderful! I need to watch your Hemingway tutorial next. I’ve had the pattern for a few weeks but have been intimidated to start since I am a visual learner. Bought the Holland last night because although I’ve made simple versions of a boxed pouch, I do love the more professional/polished version if I want to gift it. You did an excellent job showcasing the making of this bag! Thanks 😊
Those are some great products. I just now noticed that we are almost neighbors. I don’t live to far from you!! Do you attend any of the monthly feather weight sew togethers? I believe there’s one in your area on the 3rd Saturday of each month!
Becca. Great items. LOVE LOVE the wool mats. I got the small one in one of the monthly boxes and needed a bigger one and broke down and bought one and love both of them. They are great. Thanks for your lives and recordings. Love them all!! Have a great day.
Just know if you are using steam any crack will allow steam to go directly thru. If you are using this on a good wooden table or any surface that steam could damage, it will. I used a protective mat with heavy stitching on my dining table then put pizza boxes down and when the mat was removed where there were stitch lines the top was damaged.
I love those bindings! I just remembered that I bought my adjustable free motion quilting foot from them. It works great! I have a low-shank machine, and for some reason every fmq foot I tried would be too tight on my quilt. The adjustable foot with interchangeable guides did the trick!
