This is a channel that shows gold prospecting in vermont where my adventures started and now in Oregon where the adventures continue I love my fans and subscribers!!!
Very cool. Last summer i made the mistake of going up that gravel road just past mineral camp and its bad. I had to back all the way out also. Apparently they have a Bohemian miners meet here in Salem once a month and i was told i could join there. So i plan on it on there next meet. Hopefully one day I'll see you up there
Hey man glad to see you happy again. I was getting concerned for you a couple videos again. Just like you i need to be out in nature. I tell people its my therapy and i need to be in the woods. And finding gold while out in the woods is a double bonus. Good times man👍🍻
2 weeks ago we went camping at Quartsville Creek and after a few beers and a couple shots of whiskey i walked down to the creek and filled a bucket of classifieds down to ⅛ inch. First time i night prospected. We are going camping up there again next weekend too.
I'm jealous of your 9mm I live in Canada and it's illegal to carry smh.... Can't even defend ourselves against wildlife that wants to eat us how pathetic...... I'm not going to carry a damn rifle LOL
I have often wondered if that 1st area you prospected was any good for both gold and rock hounding. Now I know, thank you. Hopefully, I can get out there with ya before all the weekend warriors show up this summer. Shoulder surgery is coming up soon. Heavy Pans!
Very cool. Im always on the look for petrified wood. I found one in a small creek about 2 miles up a gravel road near where we deer hunt. It was a HUGE 75 pound piece wrapped in what looks like obsidian and patches of banded agate with spots of pink bubbly agate. I hiked up my bike trailer to haul it down the mountain. Glad to see you making videos again 🍻
Man, be careful. What looks like an adit can be a collapsed stope or just a slump from the adit below.. There can be a "bridge" of soil and rock and then who knows how deep below it. I've checked out lots of mines in oregon. Don't mess with anything that has crumbly rock, even a nice open adit. If you hear a nice echo it is a good sign but have the right gear...Best of luck
