Sir aaj kal company experience mangti hai. Aur poochhti hai real project aapne banaya hai. Sir esh problem ko kaise samjhe. Aur projects pe kaise kam kare.
Your question is very relevant. Nowadays, most companies prefer candidates who have experience and have worked on real-world projects when applying for jobs. but still we will make video on it soon
I think we can find the length of string using exceptions like this: public class StringLength { public static void main(String[] args) { String str = "Hello, World!"; int length = getStringLength(str); System.out.println("Length of the string: " + length); } public static int getStringLength(String str) { int count = 0; while (true) { try { char ch = str.charAt(count); count++; } catch (StringIndexOutOfBoundsException e) { break; } } return count; } }

one word of advice for all who wants to know what product based companies asks... 1) they ask heavy DSA problems which you can easily find on leetcode. try to solve medium and hard level problems on leetcode. you will get the idea regarding the difficulty. 2) C.S fundamentals. (operating system, computer networking, database management systems, object oriented programming) 3) System design (currently the market is adapting the need to ask freshers regarding system design as well) It includes design patterns, design principles, better ways to make system efficient. 4) the last but not the least. (cross questioning you on everything present in your resume) I am telling all these purely based on experience because currently I am working at a product based company (Microsoft).

Sir, do the interviewer asks about the collection framework if I tell them I only know core java ? Because I know core java concepts only like OOP's ,exception handling, functions, abstract class, interface, conditional statements etc.
Yes, from my own interview experiences, JDBC and the Collections Framework mostly asked in interviews due to its critical role in Java programming. They mostly ask about, ArrayList, HashSet, HashMap, ArrayList vs LinkedList difference, Iterator vs ListIterator difference in collections.
