Use the key that pops out of the key fob and the latch built into the trunk for this specific reason. I have had battery issues more than once with my 08 CLS550. Works every time.
What colour is that? Had my E93 sprayed in Atacama Yellow (was an exclusive colour on the Z4 around 2012 I think). Was quite expensive because basically everything was done (door frames, inside trunk lid, inside hood etc), and I just got new black wheels. Basically going all black for the accents, still got to get different headlights, black trim and a few other bits and pieces. Is your trim wrapped? Sadly there doesn't seem to be replacement black trim, which does exist for the other e9x models.

You don't need to do all of that, your key inside the FOB can open up the trunk manually without any power, stick your key in and turn it clockwise in then click the black lever under the deck lid above the lic plate.
Exactly my problem. I wish you would have gone a little slower i had to watch it a few times to see your contact points. But thanks for addressing this issue.
Aye man I know this was 5 years ago but I have a 08 cls 550 n my left headlight is out I replaced the bulb nothing. My turn signal works both mirror n side light on the driver side. My next option is a blown fuse but I can not find it n I’ve been searching the internet for videos and your are the closest I’ve seen so if you could lmk that’ll b great man !!!

Nice job and helpful video, thumbs up. I have an E92 M Sport seat and another one in better condition, but without the lumbar support option. Is it possible to switch out just the leather and cushion or will there be problems because of the differences? If you know I would highly appreciate an answer. Thank you
Excellent job. I really hate that there's very little aftermarket support for the F06. Mine is a 2015, and I love it, but I hate that there's not much available when it comes to modifications (unless you DIY).
