She was hobbled by a terrrible accompanist. He was rushing her, playing like he was afraid of the keys when he should have been supporting her, and bashing the keys when he should have backed off. What a waste.
I actually think, he sounds good. He's more open in his placement and his sound is bright and effortless. That's hard to do. He needs to just be clearer in his onset and consonants. So he's right on beat. Also he needs to savor his high b flat a bit more.
