Not 100% correct! but this is how I hear it. And I heard it all before You act the kind of girl I can see in my world You stood staring at your phone Pretending there's nobody else in the room And you stood with the wrong kind of people anyway Don't listen to the words that you spit in my face I can taste the smoke on your breath You wonder on, you come and go, I can tell by your tone Where will you be in five years from now? Lost on your way knowing what it's like to be sad Sat on the train just like a passenger A stranger to all the things you could of had And I know it's not right, and I know that you'll fight If you have to and I shiver inside So don't try to hide till you get blind To see Now you sat all alone And it's holding you down There's no meaning behind all of this Maybe it's time to let go for awhile And stop counting the days you missed Where will you be in five years from now? Lost on your way knowing what it's like to be sad Sat on the train just like a passenger A stranger to all the things you could of had And I know it's all right, and I know that you'll fight If you have to And I shiver inside So don't try to hide till you get blind You act so defiant Like you did nothing wrong But when you're alone you Think of the tensions The cold confrontations And feel like a thug that can sing a good man a lie Where will you be in five years from now? Lost on your way knowing what it's like to be sad Sat on the train just like a passenger A stranger to all the things you could of had And I know it's all right, and I know that you'll fight If you have to And I shiver inside So don't try to hide till you get blind To see To see
