Held your position before applying. Does that mean we have to be working in the same company for the past 1 year? Or Experience in the same field for 1 year
You must be in your current position for at least 3 months before applying. The company you work for should be in operation for at least one year. If applying without a university degree, you must have at least 3 years of industry experience
I am a British national on a 2 months holiday here with the intention of apply for the Spanish Nomad visa with my family who are Gambians residing in the Gambia? Can they be included in my application while they are in the Gambia? Thank you
Hello! If I lived in Spain on a working holiday visa from nov 2020 to july 2021 would I be eligible if I meet the rest of the criteria? I can't see that criteria anywhere! thanks
How does it work from a companies perspective? I am looking to move to malaysia with my (malaysian) partner but my company says it is difficult for them in malaysia. Will the digital nomad visa help, or alleviate my employers woes in any way?
Hi Brittney, Thank you for sharing these information with us. Does the ranking of our passport matter when it comes to applying for these visas? Or are they looking only for the given requirements? Thank you :)
Very nice presentation and update! Does the one-year tax exemption for the digital nomad include both Croatia national taxes and the city / commune or municipality taxes as well?
Hey! We're planning on getting the B211A visa with my brother! I had some questions. #1 It's currently 14 Aug, and we're leaving on 28Aug, and arriving on 29 Aug in Bali. We thought we were going to get a visa on arrival, then extend it for 30 days, and on the 46th day (2 weeks before our extended visa runs out) apply for a B211A visa. But from the video I am left with the impression that we can only apply for the B211A visa when we're not in Indonesia? So do we need to apply for the B211A visa now or how does it work exactly? #2 If we need to apply for the B211A visa now, I didnd't fully understand what I need to provide in terms of bank statements and the $2,000 mentioned. So me and my brother need to show proof of funds, with a minimum of $2,000, meaning that we need to show bank accounts that are under our names, that have at least $2,000 right? And do we need to have a sponsorship if we show proof of funds? Can you please explain what exactly we need to provide in terms of this thing? #3 Do we need to show a return tickets when applying for this Visa if we apply on our own and if we're arriving in Bali on the 29th of Aug with a B211A Visa, for when do we need to get a return ticket, if we need one? #4 Anything else that you think would be helpful for me to know regarding my question?
If I am the director of a uk company and my husband is an employee who meets income requirement for me and our kids and is main applicant would this work?
You will need to present the passport you use to travel. They may keep your passport during processing depending on the consulate you submit your application. But processing takes just 10 days.
Very insightful. Thank you! Please, can one who is a forex trader, and can show that he or she earns the required amount monthly, apply for any of the Digital Nomad visas? Or are there limitations to the type of remote job one can possibly have in order to secure a Digital Nomad visa?
Thanks for creating such a great video! Could you please explain the tax implications for digital nomad visas, specifically for Portugal and Spain? I'm interested in understanding how much tax I would need to pay on the remittances I receive from IT jobs in other countries, such as the USA. Just to clarify, I will not be working for any company in Portugal; I am referring to income from my US job.
In the case of Portugal and Spain, you will become a tax resident when you obtain the digital nomad visa. We have some articles about these topics, which you can find below 👇 Portugal Taxes - nomadsembassy.com/do-digital-nomads-pay-tax-in-portugal/ Spain Taxes - nomadsembassy.com/do-digital-nomads-pay-tax-in-spain/
Could you also mention which country offers better healthcare, lower taxes, lower rent, and a higher level of safety compared to the others in the list? For example, rent in Lisbon, Portugal is quite high, and after adding food and other expenses, it becomes very expensive. Given that I currently have a salary of 3.8k euros per month, which country among these options is a better choice financially? I love Hungary but sadly they don't allow any dependent. How can we take consultations from you? I want to consider my options.
Great vid! For spain, after 3 years do you have to apply again for digital nomad to come 5 years for PR? I guess a that point they would look at your record during that time you were payed every month?
Thank you! 💙 After 3 years, you would renew your residence permit. So it wouldn't be like applying for the visa again, but instead a renewal of the residence permit. They may request to view your financial standing to prove that you can support yourself in the country during this renewal process.
Hi, thank you for all the useful information. I started working remotely as an employee for a company five months ago. Can I now apply for a nomad visa? And is a 3-month bank statement sufficient? Thanks in advance!
Please note that bank savings is not considered when applying for this visa. You must prove that you earn at least 2,646€ gross per month if applying as an individual
Hope you are fine As per my understanding which I get from official website regarding income requirement , you explained wrong That is double of minimum wages for single Plus 75 percent of minimum wage of Spanish income Plus for kids 25 percent of each kid for minimum income . Please correct you information
Important: For the majority of applicants at this point in time, the Beckham Law ( 24% ) will NOT be granted! Self-employed / contracted individuals on Digital Nomad Visas will be registered into the Spanish progressive tax system (19-47%). Stop these lawyers from making money on false statements 😤 ! They are not tax experts 🙄 and people applying for the DNV need to understand the actual facts. You will become a tax resident of Spain upon achieving the approval of the DNV and pay social security, quarterly taxes, and year-end taxes period. These videos confuse instead of providing clarity to 99% of applicants! They make it sound like a wonderful and easy process, but in reality, the visa is stressful/varies by knowledge/experience.
